Here’s another reason to build a wall around the U.S. There are children who run away from their homes and migrate to the U.S. Then they are arrested and detained when they cross the U.S. border. But instead of investigating the whereabouts of their relatives, and deporting them back to their country of origin to be with those relatives, they are kept in the U.S. Sometimes they are allowed to stay with relatives in the U.S. Sometimes they end up in foster homes. Tax revenue is spent for them to be detained, but somehow the federal government cannot afford to give college grants to American students or fix potholes in the highways.
I notice some media bias about these children being separated from their parents by the Trump Administration or the U.S. immigration policy. The point I want to make is: Why don’t we complain about the real source of the problem,which is: the irresponsible parents of these children? I am not responsible for paying more taxes so I can correct the decisions of irresponsible parents! There is a lot of poverty, unemployment, and crime in many countries—particularly in Central American countries. But people are still having babies despite having a s~~~-storm of problems. Well guess what? Your children are YOUR problems! Take care of them, or stop having unprotected sex!
The United States government is not the blame if children run away from their parents and s~~~ty neighborhoods. These kids are willingly separating themselves from their families! They should be sent back to their families and their parents should be told to make better decisions with their lives! And if they have to sacrifice their lives in order to change their societies or overthrow their corrupt governments, then they should take that risk. How do you think the U.S. was created in the first place? Men risked their lives to fight for it!
If I had a child right now, I could not afford to pay for that child’s dental care. But when these kids run away from their countries, and cross the U.S. border, they will be detained by immigration officers and given FREE DENTAL CARE. That does not make any sense to me. Bring these kids into the country will give foreigners an excuse to continue making bad decisions. It many even encourage them to send their kids on a dangerous journey (alone!) to become U.S. citizens and “rescuing” them with wire transfers of money or possible U.S. visas.
If I had my way, I’d have what Spain has: a double fence with barbed wire. I would not let anyone in that does not have the proper paperwork. I won’t demand that my fellow citizens pay more taxes for people that don’t belong here when they can barely afford to feed their kids, take them to the dentist, and pay for college. Not letting people get in this country saves us money. And when it comes to immigration: the people who are at the top of the list are those that grew up in CIVILIZED nations! I want entrepreneurs, scientists, inventors, artists, professors, etc. I want people who can add something that’s meaningful and profitable to my nation instead of people who will end up getting government subsidies.
I can understand that children don’t ask to be born in these circumstances. However, it is the sole responsibility of their parents to provide them with food, water, and shelter. I we, as an American society, allow these parents to shirk their responsibilities, they will continue to make bad decisions that put their kids at risk. They need to learn the hard way, unfortunately. If they value the lives of their children, they will make whatever scarifies necessary to give them a better life. And if that means banding together to fight some disgusting gang members, so be it. Fight for a better life.

Americans have been bitching about illegals for sooo long that I find it funny now.
The same arguments you put forward could be turned your way: It is your government, your border agents, your immigration officials who take these decisions because your people are too dumb and too busy playing video games to do anything about it.
If the problem is sooo unbearable to you and your braves, why don’t you pick up arms and fight for what you believe is right? Why don’t you overthrow your government, take over and change all these laws that have been passed over 40 years so that those children could be turned back?

Updated 08.24, we have implemented a mechanism to automatically check for ( and publish ) any pending topics every 5 minutes. It is tested confirmed working, however in one case, the timestamp is setting it to GMT time (in the future) so any replies will appear before the topic. So, we have reverted the mechanism and will handle it manually until the timestamp issue can be solved. Thank you.
