Considering Miss Piggy has been voiced by men, I end up wondering of the Jenner announcement to drop the name Bruce, had a factor in picking someone who is male to win a feminist award.  I would expect feminists would expect feminists complain a man is taken a role that can be done by a woman, but I guess with the Jenner bit, that has all changed.  What matters is man or woman shows themselves as a female to be acceptable.  It isn’t even gender anymore, it is an identity that matters.

What is it called when you have a white actor play an African-American fictional character?  It seems similar to me, but what do I know? I am too busy trying to check my privilege to see why it doesn’t get me anything, to figure out this whole giving an award to a puppet thing.
