Misanthropy

Misanthropy is a feeling of hatred/disgust toward human race in general. Misanthropes usually avoid social relationships and human contact and usually feel upset and disillusioned about true human nature behavior basically focusing on the dark side of mankind.

It is common between MGTOW to feel a certain disgust towards feminine behavior and some just realized that they are like this since the dawn of time so they get used to it. But I feel that there are some MGTOWs that also are or would approve the idea of misanthropy since they have no friends and feel like not just women disgusts them but also men themselves due to mass blue pill epidemic and masculine submission towards misandric society.

Would you support or at least agree with misanthropy? Do you think is a precaution method to avoid meeting wrong people or an extreme antisocial attitude that might not be a good idea?

Like most questions of this nature, the answer is complex. There are traits of humanity that disgust me and I hate. Humanity’s greed, violent and destructive nature, indifference to suffering would be good examples. There are traits of humanity that I love. The art and music we create, charity, our dreams and imagination, etc.

If you only focus on the negative, I can see someone becoming misanthropic very easily.

I agree with your assertion and definition of “misanthropy” and how it may apply — in theory.

But MGTOW is very internalized and MGTOW do not “avoid human contact” or shut themselves in to the point where you would never get into your car because you don’t want an accident, or because you hate s~~~ty, drunk drivers. It would be like avoiding eating an ice-cream……… to avoid getting gunned down at a Dairy Queen. It’s just not practical or realistic.

Even if “they” didn’t have friends at all – not having a large social circle is not exclusive to MGTOW. There are lots of people who don’t have friends. Even women with 700 facebook friends don’t have as many “friends” as they think they do. Not even CLOSE.

I spoke to Katy Perry’s body guard for 4 hours one evening and he said “if anyone thinks they don’t have friends….. just wait until you’re famous”.

if you have any questions… just ASK the question and leave the “feelings” and presumptions out of it when speaking about “them”.. Like this…..

• “How many friends do you have?”
• “Do you still associate with women and to what degree?”
• “How anti-social would you say you are? “

etc…

That would be more compelling with less projecting or involvement of your feelings about “them”.

I personally think their is hope for men to smarten up and MGTOW is a pretty good example of that. I see more men asking critical life questions and challenging the way they see the world. I don’t think all hope is lost and certainly don’t think men are permanent idiots. I think change can happen but will take a sustained and extended multifaceted effort and above all a commitment too that change. I think it is possible and I see the signs of it starting here on this very forum, with the exchange of information and the strong pro male stance of this forum. I completely understand why some people go with Misanthropy but personally I don’t agree with it. The world is what we make it with a great amount of work it could be much better.

I actually like meeting people. I also like being alone a lot. Going my own way means I get to do both.

No, I have met a large array of people over my 50 years in this meat suit. The behavior of some has not colored my perception of the whole of humanity. Its more a matter of perspective. People can be atrocious or humane. Being MGTOW simply means I am not buying into a flawed cultural system. I don’t hate women. I do enjoy holding up a mirror to the flawed system and mocking it.

I’ve used the term to describe myself before but have found the word loner better describes myself. I just prefer being alone as much as I can. I only have one good friend and my parents and brothers are all close. I get along with most people and know how to charm them, but they annoy me rather easily, especially women but it goes for both genders and all age groups.
Also, I don’t need to support them. A person’s personality is there’s to have. What I think of them or anyone else thinks of them doesn’t matter. As long as they come in peace or leave me in peace, I’m not concerned. People like to equate introverts/antisocial folk with serial killers but that isn’t true.

Here we don’t hate anyone, but many of us (if not all) do hate behaviours or no accountability, since we are all men here (despite the occasional t~~~ that tries to come here, “feeeeel” that we are wrong, and are quickly sniffed out and shown the door), we know that hating the person by what this person is is idiotic, while hating their behaviours is not. If you are a misanthropist, then perhaps you should do a conciousness exam, and start with a list that points out if there are good things that people did (and believe me, there are a LOT of them) and WHO did it.

I also have the ability to determine between a dislike of a behavior, and a dislike of humans in general. On this forum, only BEHAVIOR is discussed. You can’t FIND a thread that speaks of “hate for feminine behavior”, or general femininity or women. You’ll find plenty that dislike untrustworthy and bestab-ish actions however.

That’s like someone smoking. You tell them that smoking is bad for you, and they suddenly burst out: “YOU HATE ALL SMOKERS PERSONALLY AND THINK THEIR DISGUSTING”. That’s f~~~ing stupid. We are talking specifically about that smoking is unbenificial for your health, is generally disgusting, etc.

That’s what you did. You didn’t “ask” us about our social lives, you made an assumption.
