I apologize if this topic has been posted before but I couldn’t find anything.

For those of you that find yourself in serious or somewhat financial dire straits, after a divorce or ending a finacial draining releations~~~, I offer something that helped me, Minimalism. Just as with MGTOW, you can choose your degree of which you wish to participate, learn what works best for you and use it.

For those of you that are not aware of minimalism; Basically, it is the lifestyle of intentionally trying to live with only the material things you really need. In the end, minimalism will provide freedom in many ways, not just financially.

Personally, I used the technique of minimalism to help me regain financial freedom within a relatively short period after I red pilled the Bitch from Hell. However, I am aware that the degrees of debt and other financial non-discretionary requirements will determine individual results. For some, this lifestyle is relatively easy and for others, extremely difficult. There are several sites that describe in more detail the ins and outs of minimalism as well as, steps/methods to use. Here are a couple of those:

    What Is Minimalism?

    Start Here.

There is also a documentary titled “Minimalism” available on Netflix and other media. I may not agree with everything about this but a lot of it truly helped me. This may not be for everyone, but for those of you that find yourself in need of help before, during or after ending a relations~~~, this could be a useful tool.

A feminist asked me how I view lesbian relationships... Apparently "in HD" was not the right answer.

I have a car, 3 laundry baskets of stuff and a bicycle. oh, and a plastic shelving unit. I know have too many clothes. I could do without some of the tools and a couple books. Ok get down to 2 laundry baskets. then what?

True minimalism would have me down to whatever I can fit on the bike…and even the bike is questionable.

hard core minimalism is stopping at the thrift shop every day, but a new outfit and donate what you wore in, just to avoid laundry., then write the donation off the taxes.

I give this the Market~~~cher seal of approval! One of the biggest things about MGTOW was learning the simple things like keep the condo clean, get rid of s~~~ you don’t need, and save until it hurts. Works differently for all, but is highly effective in achieving your goals. Like you said YOU determine your level of participation.

BTW Esteban hope we can grab a drink some day.

I have been heading in this direction. The less you own, the less you are responsible for, the more freedom you have. I have also been heading in this direction as a personal protest as well as I do not care to fund a Feminist Globalist Banker War Machine that behaves outside the interests of my country.

Great Topic.. I was in my early twenties when I discovered that living a frugal lifestyle was the best way to survive in this world! 👍👍

The 3 month rule: If it doesn’t get used in 3 months, it gets donated or thrown out. Winter clothing an exception.

Everything I own can fit in my car, except my bed.

If someone breaks into my house, help yourself. Less stress, more money in the bank.
    Less to move.

I don’t minimize as much as I mini-maintenance. I don’t own things that I have to constantly poor money, effort and time into. When I buy something I take that in to consideration.

I usually buy cheap stuff to learn its design flaws before looking for more expensive version.

I have a minimalist mind set because I’m surrounded by hoarders.

I keep saying I am going to get rid of stuff. I need to finally do it.
My goal is to be complete minimalist by the beginning of fall.

    Excellent thread.

Also, I was listening to a podcast just yesterday, while on a run. It was a health and fitness (plant based) podcast, and the guest was the creator of “The biggest loser”.
He was saying, of the hundreds of fat people bedrooms that he has been in, they were all complete clutter and mess. He was saying if you want to change your life, start by cleaning out your bedroom: Bed, dresser, nightstand, chair – that is all that should be in it. Nothing stuffed under the beds, or stacked in corners etc. Then clean your bathroom.
This led to a conversation of the state of your home and its connection to your mind/mental health.
Which led to more talk on minimalism etc. Pretty good stuff.

ETA: I found a quote from him along the same lines:

The idea is that if you wake up in a cluttered bedroom and the first thing you see is chaos, you’re setting yourself up for failure. Roth has been in bedrooms of people who are 200 or 300 pounds overweight and found they all look alike: Piled up mail, baskets full of laundry, a Big Gulp in the corner, unopened candy and food. “It’s a micro chasm of what’s going on in their mind,” he said.

Roth recommends emptying out your bedroom completely, except for a bed, a set of drawers and a chair to sit on.

“Now, when your eyes open up, the first thing you see is calm.
