Pretty humorous article trying to shame millennial men with no understanding of why this is going on. Not once does it mention that marriage is too risky, millennial women aren’t worth the risk, and its a hell of a lot cheaper to just be a single dude enjoying life than to have to support a family or fund a divorce rape.

Left out of the story line is that most men, regardless of age, marital status, or employment situation will not receive the same “benefits” nor “supports” that women readily receive from governments. So women are not forced to remain in their parents home, all they have to do is suck dick and spread their legs and some schmuck will take care of them.
Also that world wide, full time employment is in decline as the trend towards part time/shared jobs increases. Also missing is that depending on the field of employment one is in can dictate the hours/days of work you actually do and get paid for.

It is actually far more responsible to just support yourself if you don’t have enough coming in to support an entire family. It’s what guys have done forever. Let’s get one thing straight as I don’t see to many men on here who got the boot out of their apartment. When you live with your parents, one thing is very clear, the risk of getting ousted from your own apartment is NILL. That is actually one of the BIG reasons why MEN refuse to have their own place after a relationship.

Another is Protection. It’s hard to not have an alibi. Also, they can’t just come in and take what they want or search your home without risking some legal repercussion. But again, that’s only if your family has resources.

Exactly. Not all people who live at home longer are equal. I see no shame at all in it if you live at home in your late 20s but you are working, maybe paying some room and board, and aggressively paying down student loans or saving for a down payment for your own place. Not everyone who lives at home a little longer than average is a parasite.

On the flip side of that, maybe more women are not living with their parents, but how many women are there who can’t afford a place of their own who just flop around from guy to guy with breakups always synchronized with the end of a lease or their latest host telling them get the f~~~ out? I’d rather just have a stable place with my folks than have gone through a half dozen live in partners, maybe some random room mates, and a move or two every year through my 20s.

When I was 21 I ran into a girl I had dated from high school. She was trying to make fun of me because I still lived with my parents. Apparently she was so much cooler or something because she was borrowing a ton of money to live in a dorm. I ran into her again a year later. She had moved back to her parents house and was obviously buried with student loans. I had just bought my condo. Some people just don’t f~~~ing get it.

Fast forward 10 years…she’s never actually had her own place that she paid for…borrowed to pay for the dorm, and from tidbits I’d gotten over the years from her or mutual contacts, its just been in and out of her parents house to various boyfriends and back home when the relations~~~ ended. She eventually ended up pregnant while attempting to trap a guy, and now she’s a fat single mom, living with her mom and her kid all under one roof. But hey…she won in life because she moved out of her parents initially at a younger age than I did.

Nobody with a brain really gives a f~~~ if less Millennial women live with their parents and they tend to move out earlier when women are the majority holders of various kinds of debt. Most women either live with their parents or a partner. I know 30 year old women who still live at home
Even if you’re single and work hard, these days it’s pretty hard to get ahead so why bother living in a s~~~ty apartment when you could just live at home, pay no rent and help out with bills like electricity and groceries. I honestly wish I had the option of living at home for a year at this point, I’m definitely not gonna get laid even though I’m not living paycheck to paycheck and look good.
