I remember when the Army Navy sold bomb casings, grenade castings, and with enough M-80s’ at that time you could start your own effective mini army! I remember them having big boxes of mini lead slug bombs with fins that made it look exactly like a primitive high altitude free fall bomb, it was about the size of a .45 but longer and heavier, I was told it was used in the B-52 and would go through houses and people like butter. I remember allot creepy s~~~ that was around during the Vietnam war, the one thing that sent chills up my spine was some olive drab trash barrels marked “human blood” that were in a meeting area at the (of all places) summer day camp I attended one year. That was the first time I fired a riffle, I was a good shot from learning billiards a couple years earlier.

Thanks I like the War is Boring articles. A small piece of my heart never left Iraq and it makes my blood boil that the northern city of Mosul that I was on is ISIS headquarters now. I’ve looked into going over there and helping the Kurds but don’t want to risk losing my head.
