This was me when I was married. I went from being extremely athletic to overweight. Five years of marriage turned me into a slob. I’ve been divorced for four years. I am just now back in the shape I was before marriage. It took right under 3 years.

Your looks are connected to your self esteem. The better you look, the better you feel, the better you work, and the more confidence you will have. These are all threatening to a wife because, you can easily replace her. She does not want you to replace her, she wants the option to replace you. Why do you think that stupid dad bod fad was in?
