Since I joined this site, I’ve read many topics / replies and have collected several little snippets of wisdom from all of you guys. I thought I would post what I’ve got so far so you could see this all in one place. Sprinkled in among the MGTOW wisdom is other pieces that are beneficial to me and hopefully will be to you also. Hope you enjoy.

    MGTOW Wisdom
Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It’s not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make. Period.

When you complain, you make yourself the victim. Leave the situation, change the situation, or accept it. All else is madness. – Eckhart Tolle.

Your actions must be in line with your desired outcomes.

Contentment is natural wealth; luxury is artificial poverty – Socrates

Procrastination is the assassin of opportunity.

Through many dangers, toils and snares
    I have already come
Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far
And Grace will lead me home.

Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
    And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
    Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.

I have an identity that cannot be marred by the circumstances of life.
It does not fade, nor age, nor fail, no matter how great the strife.
It grows! It becomes more beautiful! It defies all the world can give!
For it has its roots in Him who died who was raised and through whom I live.
But how to live without worldly acceptance? Without recognition or fame?
How to live with the patterns I’ve built and not be a “winner” in the game?
    How?
By knowing who I am, By accepting His truth about me.
By grasping, clutching, and tenaciously clinging to the truth I have come to see.
Sweet victory–sweet triumphal fragrance, confident, persuaded content to be.
No longer controlled by who I was, but to live! Accepted!
    In my true identity.

When you struggle with anger, temptations, or entitlements,
    Remember this:
1)My struggle is between “the law in the members of my body” (sin – noun) and “the law of my mind” (salvation / righteousness).
    And then know this:
2)I have been set free from the struggle. I identify with Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection. Romans 8:2 – The law of the spirit of Christ has set me free from the law of death”

Only when Christ is my life and He is integrated into every one of my daily activities that I sense balance. Christ as life is experienced when I receive His love and affection and don’t try to achieve this intimate relationship by more disciplines or doing more ministry. I know my identity is found in Christ alone and not in my accomplishments or my image. His indwelling life is the source of my spiritual life, wisdom, and power.

If you avoid conflict to keep the peace, you start a war within yourself.

Character is built during the confrontation with my own weaknesses. How do I confront my weaknesses?
    1)Stop making excuses
a.It is blame more than anything else that keeps me from changing.
    2)Look for a deeper source
a.Outward behavior is often the result of inner discontent
b.Look deep for the root ailment rather than the symptom
    3)Intentionally pursue the opposite behavior
a.Cultivate the behavior you wish to exhibit.

Don’t be such a smart-alec. I try to be funny too much. I try to be clever and quick-witted. Showing off is my way of trying to overwhelm my shyness and my lack of confidence. It’s for by benefit, not yours and I need to stop.

There are two rules for success: 1. Never tell everything you know.

Your lack of empathy has rubbed off on me

Indifference & Inaction are now my keys to self-preservation…I wear them as My Badge of Honor

Stop letting people who do little for you control so much of your mind, feelings and emotions.

Knowledge Bequeaths Power Over Destiny. Use It Wisely.

“It seems like there’s times a body gets struck down so low, there ain’t a power on earth that can ever bring him up again. Seems like something inside dies so he don’t even want to get up again. But he does.”

A man should never stop setting new goals, and wanting to become a better version of himself, regardless of his age.

Also, never let your desires show.
Never confide in anyone. All betray you.
Never let anyone have dirt on you.

To crush my enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women

    Fortune favors the bold.

Surrendering is acknowledging you can’t change or control anyone but yourself. That’s empowering!

Becoming a man of my own will, free from a society-induced imperative need to impress people in order to feel self-worth – doing things I perceive as “right” rather than “accepted”, thus being an outcome independent man of character rather than personality – now this is what I perceive as my ultimate goal.

“I take pleasure…in the polish and finesse which I can bring to my operations…to impart an absolute rightness, a high elegance, to the exaction of my affairs. Each day…I try to set myself still higher standards of subtlety and technical polish so that each of my proceedings may be a work of art, bearing my signature.”

“If America could be, once again, a nation of self-reliant farmers, craftsmen, hunters, ranchers, and artists, then the rich would have little power to dominate others. Neither to serve nor to rule: that was the American dream”. Edward Abbey

Work out the body and mind! A fruitful life will surly follow! Allowing yourself to be physically and mentally lazy, and unchallenged will only render yourself to a life of ignorant drudgery.

Always do good to others because “Today you…. tomorrow me.”

Make work your favorite. That’s your favorite, OK? Work is your new favorite.

“Nothing gives one person so much advantage over another as to remain always cool and unruffled under all circumstances”. Thomas Jefferson

“When wealth is lost, nothing is lost; when health is lost, something is lost; when character is lost, all is lost”. German Motto

Resist the temptation to hate someone. It costs too much energy. A grudge is the heaviest burden to bear. One more thing – being able to forgive is very liberating.

I’ve come to the place where I don’t really want to hear anyone’s advice unless they are already dead or I know them personally. Everyone else is just a wannabe celebrity.

There is evil in this world and good men must, at all times, be prepared to deal with it.

You can’t defeat the demons you enjoy playing with.

“If a man dwells on the past, then he robs the present, but if a man ignores the past, he may rob the future”—Master Po

Anger is a legitimate emotion in the face of injustice.

Anger is not sustainable and not as powerful as truth. Truth binds one to reality.

Anger is poisonous after a short while.

Fill a person with hate and they always look ugly.

I kind of like to keep the past behind me, where it belongs.

Back in the days I had a lot of faith in other people and believed that love could fix anything.

“Never allow someone to be your priority while allowing yourself to be their option” Mark Twain

We only dream this bondage. Wake up and let it go. – Vivekananda

Learn from the past, Control the present, and you will know the Future.

I never lose. Either I win or I learn.

Peace, quiet and silence in your life is the new sports car. Silence is the new luxury

"Now remember, things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is". - Josey Wales

I appreciated this very much and just spoke of something I learned here which I will keep for a long time. Thanks @scout.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.
