I have watched Paul Joseph Watson’s video on Neo-Masculinity, which was fascinating in its own way. But I am wondering what the differences between Neo-Masculinity and MGTOW are, and what you all think about these differences.

Mgtow = don’t marry and live your life as you see fit

neo-masculinity = traditional masculinity 2.0 for PUA’s. Being a “real man” according to Roosh Vagina.

At least that’s how I remember it. When I first discovered the manosphere a year ago, I looked at all the different groups, but I haven’t given it a second thought since. Maybe its different now or this Paul guy has a better version of it than Roosh does.

First, start by giving your own thoughts. Try to answer your own question, even if you haven’t a clue about it. What do you think those differences are?

Second, if you have to wonder what the differences between Neo-Masculinity and MGTOW are, you need to do your research and homework, man. The two cannot be more different. Look it up. There was a thread here talking about this exact topic when this whole crap first came out.

Third, Paul Joseph Watson is a bitchass cuck. F~~~ him and his Neo-Masculinity nonsense.

You’re right, Khan….I didn’t do my due diligence. Sometimes I have this tendency to ask others without asking myself.

MGTOW is defined by advising men not to do certain things.

Neo-“masculinity” is defined by telling men to do certain things.

A MGHOW will say: Don’t get married. Don’t cohabitate. Don’t impregnate. You’ll be sorry if you do. Everything else is up to you.

A neo-“masculinist” will say: Hit the gym. Practice game. Acquire wealth. Do this. Do that. Buy tickets to my seminars. Buy my book. Buy my book. Buy my book. For the love of god buy my book! Why oh why isn’t anyone buying my book?

It doesn’t take much observation to realize neo-“masculinity” is just another tawdry PUA scam.

That makes tons of sense, sidecar. I will still examine the differences for my own frame of reference, but you pretty much listed the reasons why I’ve had lingering doubts about neo-masculinity. I’m all about hard work and self-improvement, but those largely unrealistic expectations seem excessive to me. I love going to the gym and having a job I love and making honest money, etc. just as much as the next guy, but I don’t have the time or money to buy books, tapes/CDs, or attend obscenely-priced seminars to teach me seduction/game.

Which is good, because those expensive seminars and books and whatnot teach you exactly jack s~~~.

You’re much better off just Going Your Own Way.

neo-masculinity = traditional masculinity 2.0 for PUA’s. Being a “real man” according to Roosh Vagina.

Essentially this. Mgtow should be self evident. Don’t waste your time energy and money on women. Neo masculinity is bulls~~~. It’s putting a new coat of paint on the same old idea of masculinity that’s been around since the beginning of time. Neo masculinity is where you completely define yourself and manhood in relation to how women see you, your success with women, and what women think of you.

Mgtow is the opposite, defining masculinity on it’s own terms, merits, and not seeking the approval of women like a little child. At least that’s what it means to me.

Feminism is a movement where opinions are presented as facts and emotions are presented as evidence.
