lol I actually wrote a report on “cool hunting” when this article came out in 2001 for highschool. I thought it was really interesting back then and its pretty cool people are digging it back up now because its definitely still relevant. Hopefully MGTOW will get “cool” status this year, but I don’t think this will just be another trend that goes away after it reaches cool status because this red pill packs a punch that you cant just throw away and forget about like an old ICP album lol.

Oh it will. I think it has already begun. I have heard an increasing number of women scream “Where have all the good men gone?” There are still several great looking narcissists but they are in for a big surprise when they hit the wall and they can’t ride the c~~~ carousel anymore and beta males stop being so eager to win their approval.

I think that’s what will keep it off the “cool radar” for a little while longer.  Hardcore feminists like to brand MGTOW as a new women haters group, but then again they go out of their way to find new things to hate, so few take them seriously. On the other hand, the prevalence of narcissism in modern women, means they cannot accept that when given a choice between women (them) and going it alone, men will turn their backs on women.

I never thought much on the marketing of what is “cool”, but I’m going to say corporations will be VERY wary of promoting MGTOW.  When I got married, my car wasn’t good enough, the house thing was suddenly an issue (I lived in a cheap apartment), and of course the house would be filled with a lot of expensive s~~~. Not to mention how much cash I burned on general wife maintenance. How many hundreds of thousands of dollars would all that cost me? Compared to me now, where I sometimes go on vacations because I feel I have money coming out of my ears with nothing else to do with it. And I still save a LOT of it.  Consumerism is in a symbiotic relationship with out of control female spending, often supported by men. For that reason I think corporations may go against MGTOW, and certainly avoid labeling it as something good.

Antares you are completely correct that this would never be supported by corporations because they would all lose money because of MGTOW. but I don’t think MGTOW needs that kind of support to get popular. We aren’t selling any products or promoting any events…we just provide information for an idea who’s time has come and with the internet and youtube it will sell itself by word of mouth. Feminism is also MGTOWS best salesman! The worst they make it on men the more men will have to search out the red pill. We arent going to need many bells and whistles to sell MGTOW because MGTOW sells itself!

I honestly don’t want MGTOW to go mainstream the many issues we will encounter are far too many, and will be a great burden, but at least the men on this site will be around to counter those issues one by one as they arise. These are just a few issues below I think we will have…

#1. False definitions of what MGTOW is (seeing this already)

#2. Fake versions, and rip offs of MGTOW such as WGTOW,AMALT, etc

#3. Unwanted attention from the Media

#4. MGTOW becoming a mainstream movement, and moving away from it’s roots

#5. False prophets, or people trying to claim leadership over MGTOW even though MGTOW has no leadership, because it’s not some feminist cult.

Does that change anything about not marrying and keeping one’s life free of women? As a millenial I made the choice, when I was 25. Now I’m almost a decade older, so are the women in my cohort, who are seeking for alimony providers now. (I assume, because I don’t even know any of them and they hopefully don’t know, that I even exist.)

There is a small window of opportunity for women: only a few years wide. Then it passes and an entire generation of females f~~~ed up forever. That’s it, there will be no remedy. It’s not my problem, I don’t care.

Indeed, the small window is where HIS SMV just raised slightly above HERS. That’s the point where she has to rope him into marriage. If she misses that, she hits the wall and it’s game over for her (and her entire cohort if they all missed it). And the mainstream media isn’t going to change that with articles like “Where are all the good men?”

The “quote” button should work for everyone. It injects the quote into the text area when composing a post. Best way to do that (for a specific block of text) is to copy and paste what you want to quote…. and then highlight / select it…. then hit the “b-quote” button on the left which will throw a blockquote tag(s) around that text. Then it will look like you’re quoting something.

The big thing for us was to have a mobile / responsive forum for tablets and handheld devices – just like the site itself. If you adjust your browser window width right down you will see the entire site is flexible. Not too many forums are responsive and that was key. It’s not perfect… but if you ever have a request drop them in the QA section and we will be all over that like a fat kid on a smartie.

On topic… The MGTOW “image” was the first thing to change. P~~~ed me off for the longest time how the fems all thought MGTOW are all a bunch of broke, bald, short, old, loser basement dwellers with tiny dicks, zero options who can’t get laid. As long as they believe that, they are not forced to accept THEY are the f~~~ing problem. “OMG those MGTOW are all just just so bitter pathetic and sad woman haters”.

We already deconstructed that s~~~ and we are not “misogynists” we are drawing attention to YOUR BEHAVIOR. We are discussing your hateful s~~~ and we are not putting up with it. We don’t have to create it. They work their asses of to create MGTOW themselves!

For this reason if MGTOW becomes cool (or goes mainstream) it will not be because MGTOW became popular.
It will be because feminism failed.

It was my birthday recently and I was taken to a strip club just for a few drinks and some looky-looky. Some pretty hot strippers were all over us before the seats warmed up. First I was polite… “maybe later sweetheart”…. but they just kept f~~~ing PUSHING! And then I just started say “no”. NO thanks. No I’m out that into you. No I don’t want a table dance. No Im just here to look. No you can’t have my money. No you’re not that hot. No I’m not into blondes. Then of course they get all p~~~ed. It was a “mini-society” of MGTOW and feminists. If they didn’t PUSH, we wouldn’t have to say NO go away.

MGTOW would be virtually undetectable if the opposing force wasn’t so furiously trying to shame and control.
A bitch goes on Fox news and says “PFT! Men today. I expect to be treated like a lady. you should pay for me’.

BOOM. +1 MGTOW right there.

We don’t create MGTOW (or make it popular), they do. A woman sees something she hates about MGTOW on a website or in another video? What does she do? She broadcasts it on Youtube. It’s like when a dog takes a s~~~ on the rug, instead of quietly ignoring it and sweeping it away…. they pick it up and carry it ALL over the house. “OMG!!! LOOK WHAT I JUST SAW!!!! LOOK EVERYONE!!! Each and every one of them are creating more MGTOW as we speak.

In my opinion this is absolutely what MGTOW needs. A “cool” factor is what pushes a movement beyond its preconceived walls and shackles. It makes no difference what indifference society has toward a certain ideology or point of view, a movement that includes the backing of society has absolutely zero boundaries.

There is a mix of men from many different age groups on this site and it is a pleasure to read/learn/disagree/argue with each and every one of them, but a video like this is what contributes what what we are ARGUING FOR. MGTOW as a whole is growing (see Google Analytics) but can you imagine where things would be if corporate america (yes those are un-capitalized for a reason) were forced to be on board? They didn’t want to contribute to Limp Bizkit, they were force due to a social response and popularity to a particular style. Imagine how deep this could be ingrained into the social combines of american culture.

This video is f~~~ing fantastic and shows what most would consider a bulls~~~ “trend.” Call it what you want, but many trends are here to stay and create social dependencies and realization toward multiple causes across the planet. Did anyone pour a bucket of ice cold water over their head for the “Ice Bucket Challenge?” I didn’t, but I know for a fact that the “coolness/trend” factor generated over $100 million in revenue because of a simple gimmick.

I share some of the concerns stated by Oldatheart…also,something being “cool” sometimes attracts people with the attention of fruit flies…just something new until the next “cool” thing comes along.   I would rather people see  MGTOW as a reaction to feminism (we wouldn’t be here without them) …and it will be interesting to see the effect of  the MGTOW reaction on society as time goes on. That being said, the thing that I really enjoy about being MGTOW is never mentioning the fact that I am. Not that I am ashamed of it, I just find it fun when I use my MGTOW powers  without women (or Manginas) knowing where I am coming from…telling them would give them  (some) understanding …for example…if I wore a MGTOW t shirt , women would know why I’m indifferent…instead, I prefer to  see the hamster spool up…it’s a lot more fun!  Happy New Years everybody and thanks for your insight and wisdom and also  for all the hard work by the creator(s) of this place !
