MGTOW, the cult movement?

As much as I recognize the unjust divorce settlements and lack of backing in this area by the judiciary system, I have begun to realize that MGTOW has become a cult movement. Bandwagon fans need to understand what they are fighting for. Yes, us men are being screwed at many angles, yet all of the responses on this site can be heard amongst an echo chamber. THINK FOR YOURSELF, forgo the reiterations of other members on this site, free thought is the only key to happiness. Unfortunately, I had more faith in this movement.

edit – this site may provide a valid basis of judgement upon female intentions, yet do not let this be the entire contributing factor upon your judgement. Excellent points made on this site, for sure, yet cult movement mentality must be neglected against the only truth one can acquire via personal investigation.

It’s not a cult or a movement. If it’s a cult, someone else would be telling you what to do, what to think, what to say and what to drink. And its’ not a “movement” because it doesn’t require unity, conferences or parades and shutting down streets to be successful. The success of “Movements” (like feminism and “gay pride”) depend on a unification of everyone to come together and agree. Conferences. Meetings. Organizations and. Events,. There’s you’re “echo chamber”…. parroting the same thoughtless s~~~ without formulating a thought of their own.

Why don’t you go to the feminists and tell them: “THINK FOR YOURSELF”.
That would be a logical step if that’s your concern.

And you won’t have to look too far to find plenty of disagreements here either.

Echo chamber in it’s intended definition for sure. Now do I agree with 80% of MGTOW philosophy, yes, yet the bandwagon mindset of members here is too numerous to take this movement seriously. This is coming from s single, prosperous, lucrative business owning, late 20 year old MALE that endured all sorts of female torment from over a decade of life.

Tax – thanks for the response. As much as I entirely agree with the majority of the premises of this site, I think it is dangerous in the context that it coerces people to not think for themselves. This site is almost as strong of an echo chamber as a liberal college. I encourage people to think for themselves and take “into consideration” what the possibly “wiser” members of this site have to offer. Again, I have money, no GF at the moment, and have attempted to explain to my beta male friends that they were being duped. That is my take, I hope you can think for yourself. No worries. You seem to have things figured out for yourself at a young age. Seriously, I’m happy for you. But you said you try to explain this to your blue pill friends. I assume you don’t have much success.

When I post on this site, it is both cathartic for me and hopefully someone sitting on the fence, wondering if they should take the red pill, will read something I posted and it will make sense for them. As KM has said, this site saves lives.

Hopefully the fact that it appears like an echo chamber will prove to some man that 10,000 men have all come to the same conclusion and they are not crazy. That said, I see men of all ages, races, religions, countries, and walks of life here.

From where I sit, I don’t see the echo chamber you see. Just my .02.

This site is like pro-capitalists that cannot possibly acknowledge the flaws of capitalism. Capitalism leads to big business/government collusion, monopolist/olipolisti systems, which swallow power from the average citizen, and unequal distributions of resources as well as outsourcing/insourcing/illegal immigration which are financial impediments to our native society. Although this system may be numerically more efficient than communism or socialism, I cannot critique the inherent flaws of the capitalist system without being deemed as a “socialist”. The same seems to apply to the “mgtow movement’, I have refuted many 8/10, 9/10, females in my life because I understand the consequences. I wish the members here would take people’s opinions into deep consideration, while maintaining their own individual though processes.

I am leaning towards 2. Coercion. More like yes means no, I guess. Since no one coerced me to sign up here, nor I have to reply to any threads or like any replies. Liberal college and MGTOW has one fundamental difference. Experience. You are correct in saying we should take in consideration what the possibly wiser have to offer. And we do. You are not one of them. You do not need to tell everyone to think for themselves. They did. And that is why they are here. Thinking different doesn’t mean being one loner weirdo who talks to himself because he is so unique. It means to find like minded people and share thoughts and experiences and draw from them.

Perhaps we should all take credit that certain aspects of MGTOW have been discussed beyond any shadow of doubt and the consensus is just a sign. Not an echo chamber.

Edit: Seeing now there is mention of capitalism and Aristotle I would like to change it to 1. Is this somehow your way of showing some chick leadership skills? Just let us know beforehand, so we go easy on you.

I’m going to chime in here for this specific part. When I joined MGTOW it wasn’t because I hated women. At least for me, as I cannot speak for my other brothers of this site.

I don’t hate women. Not at all. I do though dislike the fact that women are trying to claim equality by stripping the equality away from men. I’d hope for a world where females/males could cooperate with equal opportunities.
