Has anyone else got this. I am going through another node right now with TOR. I can not reach the site via Chrome browser.

Anyone else got any of these issues?

I was able to get here via the IP address, and the http://www.mgtow.com address.

Also doing a trace route something odd came up. But that’s expected. But pinging mgtow.com came up with total packet loss.

I actually can not reach MGTOW.com unless I use TOR? Whats going on here?

Just changed my DNS server and same thing. Went to the default Comcast DNS.

I was using the Free DNS, and it seems the same thing with other browsers on my system.

Something tells me, these outages are more then just a simple error.

Also, I don’t know if this is relavant, but the IP address that is MGTOW.com
    http://209.188.86.83/
is not on the certificate. I guess this makes sense since the IP address of the site can change. But its been a while since I dabbled with certificate authority authentication, so this actually might be normal.

That is really odd. I restarted chrome, and it works on all the other browsers.

Something is weird here. Lets hope its just a fluke.

    Now it works

Someone is doing some traffic shaping. I just did a TraceRT, and just saw that the route has changed.

This does happen from time to time, but last time it just went on the full 3o hops and nowhere. Now it works. Odd indeed.

It can’t be the computers network settings since they are the same. Something does seem odd. It was right after the post about 8chan. Hmm.

Does it work now or not ?

You cannot ping http://www.mgtow.com or https://www.mgtow.com, just without the htt-protocol e.g ping mgtow.com

The same if you ping the IP and also for using the tracert command.

    ping 209.188.86.83
    tracert 209.188.86.83

Does your Browser swap (it should do this) from http:// to https:// when you are just using http://www.mgtow.com and not https://www.mgtow.com.

I am thinking that there is a post word limit. I have been seeing this for a few days on a few posts. REduced the word count and it worked.

Yes I got the same error a few times when I posted recently – did not happen before in 2017. It’s not a post word limit – my posts are hell of a long.

One of the the reasons (there may be others) was I has an image tagged that for some reason the server did not like.
Once I took the offending image URL out there was no problem.

There have been other times but I believe generally it has to do with tagging URL’s. Sometimes removing the URL does not help maybe because the browser cache is still not cleared. If you clear the cache it may help. Not sure.

    Probably will happen again 🙂

Also if you use the link tag more than 3 times ( I think three – maybe two) the post hangs when you try to post it and you wont see it on the forum. There is a message ]topics currently pending’ that will indicate it is queued in the system. An admin has to unfreeze it manually.

This may have been resolved now but I don’t want to risk any posts.

My posts are long and I use a lot of these tags so it’s a learning curve. You will come across others I do not doubt.

    Peace.

I just had to post multiple times by shorting the post. I am going to try with the TOR browser and see if I get the same result. If not.

I know what is going on. Going to try with a vpn and another host link on a clean PC. I have this Strange feeling.
