Damn dude, I have the same attitude and hadn’t even come across this one. It feels bad when you “reinvent the wheel” and then find stuff already done and said… Although sometimes living through them is mandatory or it might just slip out of your perception !

On that same note but different situation, when I was in my 20’s and 30’s and still going out and drinking almost every night I always was on the hunt for a new bar or restaurant to go to. I’m not talking new, I’m talking old hidden away hole in the wall places off the beaten path, here in Los Angeles. I would be so excited when I found some place and I would have to tell my Dad because he prided himself on knowing every bar and restaurant in the city. I would always think I found something that he couldn’t possibly know about and sure enough not only would he know of it he usually knew the owner or a waitress or bartender. It would drive me crazy.
