As with the previous quote, “Somebody who thinks logically is a nice contrast to the real world.
    – The Law of Thumb”
reads very easily and quickly for almost anyone. For a MGTOW.com member there are overtones that are subtle but overall reflect a greater, non-selfish view point while being centered on Going Your Own Way.

Many members have posted threads regarding the change to their personal lives that occurs after incorporating the MGTOW social lens. Movies, literature, conversations and day to day activities are all revealed to be basic propaganda attempts to rationalize current social beliefs and norms.

Logical (coherent) thinking involves moving from one related thought to another. Logical reasoning is a rational systematic progression of steps to arrive at a conclusion.

Being able to make an instant decision assumes that ones thought process is logical and any conclusion is thereby logical and valid, this “FACT”, invalid of course, is increasingly becoming the norm for societies today. This of course comes from a viewpoint that everyone else is inferior and incapable of conducting critical thinking and subsequent analysis.

Few consider a greater overall context when making decisions and therefore conclude that their answer/decision must be the best. Only someone taking the time to look at all available data, who will then analyze that data and reflect upon their possible decision paths can truly state that they are thinking rationally.

Another take on the above quote from the MGTOW.com viewpoint might be that “Someone who thinks logically” is rare and a cut above the norm.

Reason and logic are an endangered species.

I would say most here are a cut above.

I would say most here are a cut above.

And if they are not initially, there will be after reading and posting to the forum.

If you can’t be logical, you can be less illogical.
Some redpill knowledge will help with that.

There is a book called Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman. Quite interesting and pretty much support the quote.

    Thinking, Fast and Slow

Emotional thought vs logical thought. Instinctive & emotional vs Logical and deliberate. Automatic effortless vs conscious mental activities.

Reacting emotionally simply makes you easy-to-manipulate sheep.

For those that think rationally and respond “No” to the propaganda, manipulation and control attempts, authoritarians will resort to the truncheon instead of words.

That is why wearing the wrong baseball hat or tshirt will get you attacked by SJW’s and Antifa types. They have no rational arguments, only emotional rages, pooping throwing, and clubs. They are one of the lowest types of human animals; clumped in there with pedophiles and cannibals.

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart-R'as al Ghul.

Considering the nature of the voters in my country I think this applies. They lack the capacity to think in general or at least refuse to.

In my view logic by itself cannot provide an answer. It is a combination of logic, reason and emotion that provide a stable assessment of what we term ‘right’ and ‘wrong’.

Logic has no ethos. No understanding of moral reductions. The appreciation of ‘right’ and ‘wrong’.

Logic is the opposing principle to unchecked emotion. Both are very similar in achieving extreme outcomes if applied unilaterally. It should be made into a core element for proper reasoning and rationale but anything further risks unbalanced or unexpected outcomes.

Logic, like emotion, is usually anchored to a base ‘life’ principle.

An example is the idea of relations between people. If the base principle is survival, then logic may dictate that it is beneficial to kill the others to obtain their possessions if there is no mitigating factor involved. This result is no different from that of emotion.

How that fits in with morality is another question. But the example illustrates that the use of any single human faculty can be taken too far and out of context.

Im insane I don’t think I’m totally logical.

A person can be totally logical and insane simultaneously. There is no contradiction here. Insanity is a measure of social norms applied to the individual.
