I’m not a musician but I do love songs and I would like to hear what an MGTOW anthem would sound like according to you guys. I was thinking of gathering suggestions here for say two months and then make a poll for one month. Would that be of interest?
While a “national” anthem would be seen as good hearted fun for probly most here, probly need to reclassify it as a theme song.
Thought about doing a thread on a mngtow pledge. Due to the fact that I use my own and recite them when trying to retain ninja focus on mygoals. But, figured it would come across as more of a cult thing than a tool for self betterment.
Edit* Althogh…if you guys want to start a group fund to purchase an island for a mgtow nation retreat, said song should be playing like it does in the movies when they land in Hawaii.
Here is a place to start looking: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC85tEwBiqGUppwZUiXGmVMg/videos
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
Yes, let’s call it a theme song, that is a much better name.
I know what -I- would choose, and there is alot of great songs out there, no doubt. But I’m interested in what WE, the MGTOW community would choose as free men all together, as “our” song, at least we the MGTOW men of this one website. If you think this is trivial just say so, but I think it would be a fun diversion from the outside sh!t.
This sounds like a fun idea.
I’m in.
Im not much for hiphop music but they do have some good points on women in their lyrics…
Keep clam i'm dyslexic.
Ok, then I’m not the only crazy guy on the block.
Gentlemen; please name your candidate song, and I will put a poll on them at end of september, beginning october. So far we have Paul Simon – 50 ways to leave your lover
keep em coming
ps: I will not name a candidate myself as I keep count.
ps II: no need to mention a candidate already mentioned. I may be 35+ but I’m not Alzheimers
"Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power."
Abraham LincolnPaul Simon – 50 ways to leave your lover
Chris Brown – Loyal
I would very greatly approve if you named the song/artist in addition to a link as links aren’t always reliable to the source.
Anonymous25MGTOW. Be a man not a muppet.

Just edit the video at the end to show him leaving a bride at the alter and flash up the mgtow sign, then show him getting in a cool car and driving away and living a great life.
Am not a massive fan of billy joel, but can’t knock these lyrics for their sentiment
“The Great Wall Of China”

It’s yours to keep ’cause opinions are free
Nobody knows about the trouble I’ve seen
Nobody’s perfect, mister, nobody’s clean
It cost too much and takes too long to find out too late
Some words are not heard ’til after they’re spoken
Your role was protective, your soul was too defective
Some people just don’t have a heart to be brokenWe could have gone all the way to the Great Wall of China
If you’d only had a little more faith in me
In lieu of diamonds, gold and platinum reminders will still shine bright
All the king’s men and all the king’s horses
Can’t put you together the way you used to be
We could have been standing on the Great Wall of ChinaYou take a piece of whatever you touch
Too many pieces means you’re touching too much
You never win if you can’t play it straight
You only beat me if you get me to hate
It must be so lonely to think that you have only
Somebody else’s life to live if they let you
I ain’t too selective, but it don’t take no detective
To find out how fast your friends will forget youWe could have gone all the way to the Great Wall of China
Now all you’re going to be is history
Help yourself, it’s all you can eat at the Empire Diner tonight
You coulda had class, you coulda have been a contender
Charlie, you shoulda looked out for me
You could have been standing, standing on the Great Wall of ChinaThis was not your calling, just look how far you’ve fallen
I heard your story, man, you’ve got to be joking
Keep things in perspective, this is my true objective
Why tear this heart out if it’s only been broken?
We could have gone all the way to the Great Wall of China
If you’d only had a little more faith in me
In lieu of diamonds, gold and platinum reminders will still shine bright
All the king’s men and all the king’s horses
Can’t put you together the way you used to be
We could have been standing, standing on the Great Wall of ChinaPaul Simon – 50 ways to leave your lover
Chris Brown – Loyal
Jim Parsons – Muppet or a man
Billy Joel – Great wall of China
As an 80’s fan I would say Whitesnake – Here I Go Again.
Here I go again on my own
Goin down the only road I’ve ever known
Like a drifter I was born to walk alone
And I’ve made up my mind, I aint wastin no more time!
I’d like to suggest several categories of unofficial MTGOW anthem: About the Group, Breakup, Women in General
About the Group: Songs that seem to generally encapsulate that MTGOW feeling
Breakup: Great general breakup songs for how women suck (may be better as a list as each relationship sucks differently)
Women in General: AKA “why I’m staying single, the musical.”
My candidates for each one…
About the Group: You Don’t Have to be Old to Be Wise – Judas Priest
I’ve had enough of being programmed
And told what I ought to do
Let’s get one thing straight
I’ll choose my fate
And it’s got nothing to do with youThe years are flying by and it’s time I got high
Took a sample of the good things in life
This is a chance
I’m gonna take
Gonna get out trouble and strifeI grow sick and tired of the same old lies
Might look a little young
So what’s wrong
You don’t have to be old to be wiseNo I don’t care that the people stare
Accuse me of going mad
Just get a long hard look into the mirror
Then, tell me now who’s been hadThe way things are going I won’t get to show ’em
Go single all the time’s up to me
So it’s off with the ties
No compromise
Wanna taste what it’s like to be freeI grow sick and tired of the same old lies
Might look a little young
So what’s wrong
You don’t have to be old to be wiseI grow sick and tired of the same old lies
Might look a little young
So what’s wrong
You don’t have to be old to be wiseI’m gonna gather my things
Go through the door
Every night I’ll live on my own
I’d like to be there
And I’m gonna be there
I got a will of my ownI go as I please
Fend for myself
Pull all the stops, roll the dice
Out on my own, gonna go it alone
When I need it
Then I’ll ask for adviceYou don’t have to be old to be wise
Women in General: Gold Dust Woman – Fleetwood Mac
Rock on gold dust woman
Take your silver spoon
Dig your graveHeartless challenge
Pick your path and I’ll prayWake up in the morning
See your sunrise loves to go down
Lousy lovers pick their prey
But they never cry out loud
Cry outDid she make you cry
Make you break down
Shatter your illusions of love
And is it over now do you know how
Pick up the pieces and go home.Rock on ancient queen
Follow those who pale
In your shadowRulers make bad lovers
You better put your kingdom up for sale
Up for saleWell did she make you cry
Make you break down
Shatter your illusions of love
And is it over now, do you know how
Pickup the pieces and go home.Well did she make you cry
Make you break down
Shatter your illusions of love
And now tell me
Is it over now, do you know how
Pickup the pieces and go home
Go home
Go homePale
Shadow
Of a woman
Black widow
Pale
Shadow
Of a dragon
Dust womanPale
Shadow
Of a woman
Black widow
Pale
Shadow
She’s a dragon
Gold dust woman
Woman, womanBreakup Song: Harmonic – Unwritten Law
Well, I’ll see you around
Don’t want to stay and drown
The drama got too thick
Makes me sickAnd I don’t want to talk about it
I already thought about it
Stripped down of my pride
I shed these tears then dried these eyesIt was fun at the start
But maybe we’re worlds apart
Facing different ways
On different plainsAnd I don’t want to drag it out and
I just got to get on out and
Leave it all behind
It’s time so don’t deny itI want to know
Does it show on my face
I’m sick of this place
I want to move on
cause the feeling is goneI want to see
Is it me out the door
I told you before
I want to have fun
and it’s just begunI’ve seen the light
Tried to talk about it
If you were ever down for me
Just stop
You’d seeYou know I’m right
And it showed in your eyes
What we shared had run empty
So let It be
Let it beI want to know
Does it show on my face
I’m sick of this place
I want to move on
Now there’s one of us goneI want to see
Is it me out the door
I said it before
I want to have fun
and it’s just begunBeauty fades, dumb is forever.

”Whiskey In The Jar”
(originally by Thin Lizzy)As I was goin’ over the Cork and Kerry mountains

I jumped up, fired off my pistols and I shot him with both barrelsMusha ring dum a doo dum a da

Whack for my daddy-o
There’s whiskey in the jar-oNow some men like the fishin’ and some men like the fowlin’
And some men like ta hear, ta hear the cannon ball a roarin’
Me I like sleepin’, specially in my Molly’s chamber
But here I am in prison, here I am with a ball and chain yeahMusha ring dum a doo dum a da
Whack for my daddy-o

Ooh, they’re red, white and blue.
And when the band plays hail to the chief,
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, lord,It ain’t me, it ain’t me, I ain’t no senator’s son, son.
It ain’t me, it ain’t me; I ain’t no fortunate one, no,Yeah!
Some folks are born silver spoon in hand,
Lord, don’t they help themselves, oh.
But when the taxman comes to the door,
Lord, the house looks like a rummage sale, yes,It ain’t me, it ain’t me, I ain’t no millionaire’s son, no.
It ain’t me, it ain’t me; I ain’t no fortunate one, no.Some folks inherit star spangled eyes,
Ooh, they send you down to war, lord,
And when you ask them, how much should we give?
Ooh, they only answer more! more! more! yoh,It ain’t me, it ain’t me, I ain’t no military son, son.
It ain’t me, it ain’t me; I ain’t no fortunate one, one.It ain’t me, it ain’t me, I ain’t no fortunate one, no no no,
It ain’t me, it ain’t me, I ain’t no fortunate son, no no no,COPPERHEAD ROAD:Well my name’s John Lee Pettimore
Same as my daddy and his daddy before
You hardly ever saw Grandaddy down here
He only came to town about twice a year
He’d buy a hundred pounds of yeast and some copper line
Everybody knew that he made moonshine
Now the revenue man wanted Grandaddy bad
He headed up the holler with everything he had
It’s before my time but I’ve been told
He never came back from Copperhead Road
Now Daddy ran the whiskey in a big block Dodge
Bought it at an auction at the Mason’s Lodge
Johnson County Sheriff painted on the side
Just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside
Well him and my uncle tore that engine down
I still remember that rumblin’ sound
Well the sheriff came around in the middle of the night
Heard mama cryin’, knew something wasn’t right
He was headed down to Knoxville with the weekly load
You could smell the whiskey burnin’ down Copperhead RoadI volunteered for the Army on my birthday
They draft the white trash first,’round here anyway
I done two tours of duty in Vietnam
And I came home with a brand new plan
I take the seed from Colombia and Mexico
I plant it up the holler down Copperhead Road
Well the D.E.A.’s got a chopper in the air
I wake up screaming like I’m back over there
I learned a thing or two from ol’ Charlie don’t you know
You better stay away from Copperhead RoadCopperhead Road
Copperhead Road
Copperhead RoadHERE’S A QUARTER CALL SOMEONE WHO CARES:You say you were wrong, to ever leave me alone
Now you’re sorry, you’re lonesome and scared
And you say you’d be happy, if you could just come back home
Well here’s a quarter, call someone who caresCall someone who’ll listen and might give a damn
Maybe one of your sorted affairs
But don’t you come ’round here handin’ me none of your lines
Here’s a quarter, call someone who caresWell I thought what we had, could never turn bad
So your leavin’ caught me unaware
But the fact is you’ve run, girl that can’t be undone
So here’s a quarter, call someone who caresCall someone who’ll listen and might give a damn
Maybe one of your sorted affairs
But don’t you come ’round here handin’ me none of your lines
Here’s a quarter, call someone who caresYeah here’s a quarter, call someone who cares
