This is the first time I saw this concept of a woman marrying herself. Initially I thought this is so stupid, basically it seemed like someone generating business for all those companies who make money from marriages. It has no legal basis whatsoever anyhow, and I couldn’t see how it was any different to being single…except you are now out of pocket.

But then I thought, this could be a good way of saving men from the FUBAR institute of marriage and the costs of it. So lets ignore the fact that it’s a stupid concept. It’s interesting she didn’t say why she didn’t want to get married to another man, women, or farm animal…..

I told my 19-year old about the ex-gf who is going to marry herself in June and thought it was pretty cringe-ey.

If you had told me 20 years ago that I would have known (didn’t date) a woman who f~~~ed a dog, and later that I’d date a woman who would decide to marry herself, I’d have laughed in your face.

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive.
