Is MGTOW in a echo chamber? To answer this question we first have to define what a echo chamber is. Link found here.
Observers of journalism in the mass media have recognized that an echo chamber effect is occurring in media discourse.[1][2] One purveyor of information will make a claim, which many like-minded people then repeat, overhear, and repeat again (often in an exaggerated or otherwise distorted form)[3] until most people assume that some extreme variation of the story is true.[4]
The echo chamber effect that occurs online is due to a harmonious group of people amalgamating and developing tunnel vision. Participants in online communities may find their own opinions constantly echoed back to them, which reinforces their individual belief systems. This is happening because the Internet has provided access to a wide range of readily available information and people are increasingly receiving their news online through untraditional sources. Companies like Facebook, Google, and Twitter, have established personalization algorithms that cater specific information to individuals’ online newsfeeds. This method of curating content has replaced the function of the traditional news editor.[5]
Online social communities are fragmented when like-minded people group together and members hear arguments in one specific direction. Social networking communities are powerful reinforcers of rumors[6] because people trust evidence supplied by their own social group, more than they do the news media.[7] This can create significant barriers to critical discourse within an online medium. Social discussion and sharing suffer when people have a narrow information base and don’t reach outside their network.
Many real-life communities are also segregated by political beliefs and cultural views. The echo chamber effect may prevent individuals from noticing changes in language and culture involving groups other than their own. Regardless, the echo chamber effect reinforces one’s own present world view, making it seem more correct and more universally accepted than it really is.[8] Another emerging term for this echoing and homogenizing effect on the Internet within social communities is cultural tribalism.
To answer the question of MGTOW being an echo chamber is not as complex as one might think or believe to be the case. Through shared experiences of men from various ages, backgrounds, religions, and different cultural beliefs around the world men have become aware throughout history that women time and again have proven that our shared experience is the truth when the discussion of the nature of women is broached.
Males from a very young age are taught social constructs from parents, educators, mass media and advertising that we have to behave a certain way at all times. The entire world has been one big echo chamber lying to men and telling them this is the only way one should live. Educate yourself, get a good paying job, find a woman and marry her and start a family. Work your ass off and if you have to even die while working so be it as this is your duty as a man because men are disposable. Once his kids grow up they are taught the same thing, and they too start on the same path their parents went down and the cycle continues to repeat itself.
Along the way great men like Nicola Tesla break from the mold of traditionalism and forge their own path to great things for themselves in life avoiding the echo chamber of their parents and society. Some people sadly do not get to have both parents in their lives so they have to be educated by strangers to keep them on the same path as everyone else.
MGTOW is the response to breaking away from the echo chamber of the world. Yes we come on here and tell people the same things over and over because it is the truth! If you had the premise that we are in a echo chamber you are throwing out facts and truth to the side and ignoring what makes men from all walks of life come here to discuss their personal experience with the world.
If we were in a echo chamber there would be misogynist posts constantly directed at women hating everything they stand for like feminism. Instead what you find is men who after feeling betrayed, mistreated, robbed and let down by women, government, courts and society as a whole; over time they forgive but never forget the lessons they learned by taking the red pill. You will see countless posts on here by men that tell other men not to hate women, it is their nature to just be this way and to learn from our mistakes and move forward with your life.
Granted there are men who genuinely hate women for everything they were put through and that is to be expected it takes time for the red pill rage to go away and have acceptance of what life is really like out there and for some people this can take years to overcome. MGTOW has not just started over the last couple of years, men have been seeing this play out for centuries.
The internet has empowered anonymous men to connect on a global scale and share their experiences that was not available to our ancestors in the past because it was not in the interest of society for men to go their own way. It has also given women the same power to create feminism and turn it into a third wave of cancerous misandry and illogical misrepresentation of “facts” like the myth of the wage gap or rape culture men are subjected to on a daily basis in our society today.
It is in women’s nature to try to shape and change men to their belief system and ideology because it is to their benefit for survival. As men we can’t hate women for being this way it is just in their nature you need to accept and understand this and not be manipulated by them. It has already been stated on numerous posts here regarding AWALT and I will not get into details of their nature most of us already have read and seen through shared experiences, facts, and personal observations what the nature of women truly is. For those who are new please read and learn what is posted in the forums and if it is parroted and looks like an echo chamber it is because every man here is speaking about the nature of women as fact because they themselves went through a similar experience.
Men have been divorce raped by their ex wife and the state, falsely accused of rape and domestic violence, rejected by women as they climbed the hypergamy ladder and the list goes on and on. This is why we are shamed, manipulated, and scorned by the mangina, simps, and females of our world because we bring the truth to light.
We are living outside of the echo chamber, off the plantation and have found sovereignty and dignity by going our own way and living on a path we know is right for us and not for the benefit of females and society as a whole. The mainstream media will continue to deliver their attacks on us because we threaten their echo chamber of conformity and servitude to the state and female gender.
Stand on your own two feet after you have been knocked down by this world and walk your own path to a better life the way you see fit for yourself. If that includes a woman in your life or not that is the choice you have to make. There are men on this site who still date women, interact with women, and are even still married to a woman and some men are in fact gay and still have the same shared experience as those who are not in a relationship. If we were all an echo chamber like some like to point out in the main stream media and by society in general this would not be the case at all.
If you learn anything from this and I had to break it down in once sentence to help you along your path on the MGTOW road I would say this to you. Remember one chance per person per lifetime and never cohabitate, marry, or have sex unless you use protection for your own well being the rest is up to you on how you want to live your life. We know MGTOW is not an echo chamber – far from it! – and there are PLENTY of receipts in the litter box forum. Plenty of response video disputes and even threads where we would slightly disagree on base principals. Like just a couple of hours ago.
Be aware that detractors will stop at NOTHING to try and get you to do what feminists , SJWs and Leftoids do. To talk about “what they are NOT”.
We don’t exist to disprove unfounded accusations by those who’s disapproval is entirely irrelevant. “Echo Chamber” is a lame keyword used to avoid saying “men from all walks of life and parts of the globe who understand each other”.
Living harmoniously is not their plan.
Just look at any marriage or relationship. Not even that is an “echo chamber” and they are EXPECTED to get along. They made a VOW to love each other and they STILL can’t pull it off.
So there is never a need to say “MGTOW Is Not An Echo Chamber”.

Unlike those other places, we have many disagreements, then share a beer and move on, not keeping things personal.
But there are so many divergent viewpoints here, and men that will present their side and back it up, and sometimes it gets heated.
There are plenty of guys that I disagree with and just will never see eye to eye on a lot of things with on here. And I’ve let them know it and they’ve let me know it. But at the end of the day, we do respect each other and there are times we do agree with each other, but even if we don’t, our disagreements stay in those discussions where we disagree.
You never see that with women and manginas. They all always say the same thing, gang up on anyone with a different viewpoint, then follow people around everywhere to pick fights all the time and bring up past discussions.
I’ve only seen a handful of posters on here do that, and they all got banned eventually. And I don’t think we’ve had a recent one of those types.

MGTOW is an echo chamber of experiences, analysis and facts about regaining your sovereignty. We as MGTOW are not afraid to discuss our differences and bond over our similarities.
MGTOW often seem like an echo chamber because we are saying the same thing over and over again; in order to push men over the edge towards MGTOW. Remember in the Matrix when NEO was first contacted by Morpheus through his computer? Morpheus had contacted thousands if not millions of men before him in order to find ‘The one’. This is what we are doing.

That is more of a reaction to the endless stream of “the same” bulls~~~ thrown in men’s faces – over and over again. When you’re being force fed the same blue pill crap, they should expect you to spit it out repeatedly too.

The increasing online & cultural relevance of MGTOW is an effect, really. Not a cause or a symptom. It’s a by product and a result of something else. It should have been expected.

The reason I wrote about the echo chamber was because in the past I have noticed people on this and other web sites using this term to discredit what we talk about. This is not a new shaming tactic it has been going on for years now. It is a coping mechanism for men to give them a excuse to attack and leave behind the MGTOW mindset by refusing the red pill and taking the blue pill instead like Cypher did in the Matrix movie. What these people do not get is they never understood MGTOW to begin with. We are not a movement or a group but instead a family trying to help each other.

I decided to talk about this topic because it shows up all over the place and it is a false narrative that is continually spewed ad nauseum in comment sections and other web sites. When I did a search on our forums regarding this topic nothing came up. People searching for answers about MGTOW may have typed this phrase into their search engine and only garbage came up.
Now when you type MGTOW echo chamber this is the first topic that comes up to the top and it better helps people see the other side of the coin. In my original post I wanted to keep it short but I will now add more to it to give you a understanding of the garbage that was showing up before.

Without getting off on too much of a tangent, many of the other criticisms that you see regarding MGTOW here are fair. I never got too involved in the MGTOW community. I always considered myself a distant observer. There is too much misogyny in the forums, blogs, and on YouTube. There’s a lot of “butthurt” going around in those echo chambers. I feel sympathy for those men, but I’m not going to be part of the “He Man Woman Haters Club”, which is essentially the MGTOW communities biggest problem in its current stage.

When a topic isn’t part of the MGTOW ideology it gets sent to a “safe space” known as ‘The Litter Box’ thread where the original poster isn’t allowed to reply or comment on their own post and is ironically shamed and criticized by other men and not be allowed to have an open discussion and a fair debate on equal ground. I even have the original post here.
Being the true intellectual that I am. I planned ahead and declared in advance that I would leave the MGTOW echo-chamber and not even bother coming back to this circle-jerking-fest of pseudo-intellectual men with large egos that want to hijack MGTOW and trying to convert it into a male-supremacist ideology.If that fool came to that conclusion he never really was a MGTOW to begin with. Moving along I will finally post a video about this topic you can skip to the 22:00 minute mark to save yourselves some time.
