Thanks for posting this. Its how I live my life, it started after my divorce ~5 yrs ago.

The feedback I had from one of my recent relationsh1ts was that I must be in “transition.” This came about because I am always trying new things, new ways of life. I’m always reading, learning, listening to podcasts, meeting new people and starting things. Seeing what I like and what takes.

Really, she just couldn’t categorize and predict me.

This is why I left church. The #1 problem with church today is it promotes gynocentric qualities such as submission, emotionalism, and passivity. And of course, it’s dominated by women. And don’t get me started on that “Bride of Christ” stuff which they LOVE to talk about.

i used to go to church every sunday but i stopped a few years ago once i realize that a lot of the stuff is full of crap.

Modern religion hand picks content from their “holy” text and ignore other stuff.

Definitely. My mom made us go to church when we were kids, and I stopped going soon as I was old enough to be a big enough pain in the ass for her to give up on bringing me lol. Even as a kid I realized that almost nobody even tries to live by the rules of the church. Even back then why was I hearing about divorces and single moms and gambling at the local casinos and drunks and all that stuff if people at the church actually followed the rules?

Fast forward a couple decades and as the church has become more accepting of abortion, divorces, and gays as a direct result of their donations dropping they really have no credibility anymore. All the pedophile cover ups are just icing on the cake.

I even see it with some guys on here…they’ll talk about how many whores they f~~~ed back in the day…then turn around and quote some bible stuff. Well isn’t premarital sex a sin? Isn’t it worse to knowingly sin repeatedly than to make a mistake once and ask forgiveness and not repeat? Isn’t it worse to knowingly sin than to sin in ignorance? Churches probably wouldn’t be losing so much favor in society if the church didn’t shift its stances to increase revenue, and its members weren’t such hypocrites about what they claim to believe in and how they actually live their lives.

MGTOW is all about changing yourself for the better. Transforming yourself into the best “you”, that you can be. And most importantly, do it for YOU. Don’t do it for some woman, don’t do it for anyone else. Change because it is whats best for you and what helps you to accomplish your goals. Never change for a woman, she’ll respect you more for standing your ground and putting your foot down.

Nope. The Brits are into it too. Here’s a worship song written by David Crowder (a Brit), which we used to sing at my former church:

We actually used to sing “sloppy wet kiss” instead of “unforseen kiss”. I think they changed the lyrics because it was just so repulsive to a lot of the men.

I really don’t want to be blasphemous, as I’m still a man of faith. But I have lost faith in the church, at least formally. Frankly, this song makes me sick. In my opinion, the church has gotten so gynocentric in the last 50 years it’s disgusting. (Part of the reason for this is because of the Johnson Amendment and the whole 501(c)3 thing, but that’s a subject for another thread.)

It’s a perversion of the whole doctrine in Ephesians and Revelation on the church being the Bride of Christ. I can see that in a figurative sense, but I’ve known some wacko Christian girls who wore engagement rings on their fingers and said “I’m engaged to Jesus”.

I can’t take it anymore.
