Men, I’ve recently joined the forum here, but have lurked in a few others for the last year or two. First off, i appreciate everyone’s thoughts, questions, comments & humor.

Second, a brief intro: My path to MGTOW i think is fairly typical – married & divorced within 3 years, paid out way too much blood money & treasure, got to thinking whether or not there’s a better way.

Indeed – there is a better way. It started for me with “No More Mr. Nice Guy” by Dr Glover; in working through that, i stumbled on his article about the “Cake of Life”. In that, i found a framework for my life that makes sense. I did about a year of what TRP calls Monk Mode, and now, i have

    – A fulfilling career
    – Great friends
    – Killer workouts 5 days per week, and
    – Time/resources to pursue my passions, like international travel & volunteer work, latin dancing (salsa, bachata, tango), learning foreign languages, discovering new music, men’s style & fashion.

This has led to me being happy & looking forward to damn near every day, to being better, to facing down challenges, to learning, to improving myself.

With respect to women: being a successful, confident & happy guy in his mid-30s, with no attachments, gets a fair amount of attention in New York City. I politely tell women i don’t date. If they press & i want to be socially polite, i tell them it’s because i divorced last year. What they don’t know, what no one outside of a close group of friends knows, is that i’ll never marry – I’ll never give up all that i’ve worked so hard for – happiness, freedom & resources to travel & do as i please, to retire inside 10 years to the coast of Latin America where i can volunteer or consult or work on old cars or surf to my heart’s content.

There’s a whole world out there – for me it gets better every day when I use my natural talents to improve myself at the same time I’m enjoying the world.

Welcome! I am glad you made it. Glover’s book is new to me, thanks for the tip. http://www.nomoremrniceguy.com/

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
