I just wanted to extend a thanks to you guys, you are all truly some of the most down to earth people I have ever met and had the pleasure to converse with. I have been MGTOW since 2013, but started to get the “elements” of mgtow well before I knew what it was. I’ve been asked countless times now by friends, family, relatives, associates, “When will you get married?” Some I don’t really give an answer to. Others if I feel they genuinely want to know I will explain a little. But my standard response is I have chosen to stay single and out of committed relationships for the past few years because “I value my freedom, time and money”. This to a T, is the best short answer I can give people. Everyone understands it, but most won’t admit it. Though when I say it to even the ones that won’t admit it, whatever conversation which led to that statement more or less ends there.

I look around at my life and constantly judge it, myself, my interactions with everyone, everything… Though I have a few things to work on mentally, for the most part I am happy with my life financially, happy with my line of work, happy that I am continuing my education to bolster my resume with a hopeful additional degree. I look out in my garage and see a couple thousand dollars in tools, a couple motorcycles and 2 paid for vehicles one of them a few years old. The constant amount of projects I have going on and everything in between. All of this would likely not be possible if I was still doing the committed relationship BS and definitely not if my 25 year old ass had gotten married. All of this has made me happy, money itself does NOT bring happiness, but it does allow you to live happier if you use it properly and with a budget. I have come to be content with what I have and I honestly value my free time. I have to budget time around classes, a 40+ hour a week job, school work, and my projects at the house. Bringing a relationship into the mix would end alot of that due to how needy women are, compared to my ex’s from the past. This forum is a treasure trove of information and personal experiences. You guys are leading the younger crowd like me here, with your stories and personal effects that you have shared with us. For that I thank each and every one of you. I have read many of your threads and have learned a great deal from them. MGTOW has not just brought happiness to me, but it has shown me that I DON’T need to be like everyone else, have a marriage, kids, and eventual divorce because of what society dictates. Society and it’s warped values can , I’ll be doing my own thing carving some mountains on the bike. Thanks KM, Roydal, megachris, hitman and how many others I can not name. Looking forward to a great year

    Happy to hear that bro!

I’m in my early thirties and just found out about MGTOW back in August. It has truly changed my life though to adopt the MGTOW lifestyle.

Hope to get out of debt very soon in my case (within two years all of my debts will be paid off), then I will be truly free.

    Enjoy!
