MGTOW Forums App?

Just curious: Do the MGTOW forums have an app? I love the forums, but it’s a bit tricky on my phone to navigate so I just thought I’d ask. Thanks!

Have you tried switching using the “V1 PLAIN” button on the top left? This will reduce it down to a bare bones minimum… smaller font size, minimized images / avatars, and will give you a very minimized version suitable for a handheld device. Basically it’s the no-frills version right out of the box. Not as pretty though.

Once you click it, it will stick for the duration of your visit. Try it – you can always switch it back to V.2 Enhanced for desktop and high-res monitors after.

1. hit the switch to View as V1 plain….

2. scale your browser window (reduce the width as far as you can)
This is the “responsive” feature of the site making it flexible for mobile and tablets.

We have considered a forum app but this SHOULD make the forum work exactly as it does now for your phone.
Even the menu will collapse.

I don’t know if this site is compatible or not but there is an app called Tapatalk that is basically a forum reader.  It’s free on Google Play.  KM would know best if it would work for this site.

POST EDIT:  OOPS!  Sorry KM…I see you were all over this before I could finish banging out this post!  🙂  It’s late and I should probably go to bed!  I’ve used Tapatalk before and for me it was “meh”….other people like it…me not so much.  Besides I like seeing all the cool s~~~ you guys do with the graphics!  Need more s~~~ blowing up!!!!  MGTOW tanks blowing up giant walking clams?  🙂

Try it for a bit and let me know if you like it or hate it. Thanks for asking. We can do a custom styled one for current smartphones that would be much prettier eventually.

Cool @Soulman. If you guys ever notice something you would like us to implement, shoot it over and we will give it a thorough look over.

We will definitely be implementing much more strictly mobile stuff in the future., Including apps.

But you guys should know we didn’t know if the forums would even be a success(!) so it was very experimental and turns out to have been a great decision.

Knowing this, when usage really starts to ramp up, it will be worth doing a dedicated app and things like that. But Im very happy to hear you love the forums. That means alot.

KeyMaster, just been giving it a whirl so far on my phone. A lot easier to use, thanks! If anything seems weird in the future, I’ll definitely let you know, but it’s been a lot better so far. Definitely a major help. Personally, I LOVE the forums. It’s hard to find men in the “real world” to talk to, much less about this since most of them are blue pillin’ it. So many awesome folks on here.

 

Also, semi-related note: I tried posting something in the Health and Fitness boards and it keeps saying “duplicate post” even though I can’t see my post?
