MGTOW Demographics

Gents,
I’ve been monitoring the upward trend of MGTOW following utilizing Google Trends. An upward swing is visibly there. However, I notice that the only regions of the world where the concept is known or prominent is primarily in the U.S., Austria, some of Canada.. and picking up pace in Germany and some parts of Asia. Other than that, the rest of the world seems oblivious to it.

The question I pose is, what is it that these regions have in common that make MGTOW so widespread. Is it in areas where issues pertaining to equality run rampant? Is it only in areas where women are generally perceived as having more rights than men? I notice in places where traditionalism is still strongly relavant (gender -based roles in the household, and thus in society), no MGTOW seem to exist. Any thoughts? Can someone provide clarification or expand on what they think the details might be.

I think Jan.Sobieski has the right of it. I can’t see the brand of feminism we’re having inflicted upon us in the West working in a place where water and food are daily problems. Impoverished Third World women have real problems. The subject of microaggressions will never come up as long as subsistence is at question every day.

The countries that you listed above have English speaking populations or English is a common language that is spoken.

MGTOW is an English acronym.

There may be no answer to this.

Now that makes perfect sense. So in order to collectively make feminism irrelevant, or at least of little impact, we should just horde our resources. But then again, Uncle Sam will just find a way to pry it from our hands. Not to my knowledge my man.. I imagine they retain that info for themselves.. however large or small it may be… that is an extremely interesting idea though. .to be able to dig deep into the numbers and identify patterns. ..

You’re right in that Uncle Sam’s already done this, probably in more ways than you know. There’s the obvious marriage. Then there’s the “reinterpretation” of prenuptual agreements by judges, which makes them completely worthless in some cases.

There’s also a “single tax”, in that married couples are currently afforded better income tax rates, so single people get hit harder, essentially subsidizing married couples. So far as i know the increased tax rates paid by single wage earners is levied against men & women equally. But that may change in the future. And of course, women get custody of the kids the vast majority of the time as-is, so guess which parent gets to claim the kid as a dependent, plus child tax credits, etc. etc? (Where’s @taxguy when you need him?).

That’s a really narrow minded, and basless generalization. I don’t see how one piece of data (Western Woman) correlates with the other. (white woman “obviously” being the most annoying, etc.)

I don’t mind you sharing an opinion, rather you agree, disagree, or are neutral. But try to refrain from unwarranted and unsupported comments like that. It’s not only a deragatory statement, but it adds s~~~ for quality and understanding of the subject at hand.

May I try to cast a broader light on things the way they are?
Color has nothing to do with any particular flower at hand, especially when they all have thorns!
Notice the way we can’t see a man’s color, or age, when he opens his mind and heart here (in this one-of-a-kind forum), but when the other gender opens their unwanted mouths here (no matter the age) we see it jump of the page like a flair!
My point being,,,, over the past 50+ plus years, we have never seen a program, broadcast, or print, contradicting feminism, only praise and acceptance!
