MGTOW Independence day to coincide with Valentines Day

This has probably been mentioned before in other threads but today I got it stuck in my craw.

We should celebrate the freedom we have fought hard for and gained as men going our own way. We have some similar goals that we fight for like a single man tax.

We should have a day commorating our freedom like Independence day.

We should have a MGTOW day and have it coinside with Valentines day perhaps the greatest mangina day ever invented.

Since mangina’s and MGTOW are polar opposites, there should be no overlap and competition on that day.

We could make internet poster, tweets, instagram messages to celebrate our freedom from the oppression women have reeked upon our society making relationships such a burden that the only rational response is going our own way.

Independence day! Three cheers for going our own way, sort of thing.

We could get started organizing now..

I like the thought, and it’s fun to think about, but at the end of the day I probably wouldn’t post anything just because I like the stealth attitude better. That said, I think it would be fun to come up with a hashtag that would mean something to us but other people wouldn’t necessarily get it.

I like this idea. Can we have our own Boston Tea Party or something? We could all post a couple of tea bags in an envelope to the President / Prime Minster etc as a protest. Funny stuff and harmless and anonymous.

I’m for it. It’s funny how people will say religious holidays like Christmas and easter have no relevance to society but turn around and celebrate garbage like valentines day like it holds some kind of intrinsic human value.

I will gladly celebrate with other men about the independence I have achieved.

I have discovered a truly remarkable list of reasons why women are not necessary for a happy life, but alas this margin is too small to contain it.

We have a history of doing just that. In 2015, MGTOW.com declared February 14 to be MGTOW Day. There was a long thread about it, lo those many months ago.

The idea seemed to arise spontaneously in 2015. The Mayor of MGTOWN was the first I noticed, although he may have picked it up from another. In fact, the Mayor posted it anew in his new channel.

I am still up for Festivus to be involved somehow. I would rather have nothing to do with Valentine’s Day, nor try to do some counterculture undermining it the way the Catholic Church did with Pagan holidays. Attempts to try to do MGTOW on Valentine’s Day, treating it as a holiday ended up not doing anything and got mocked. Trying to push July 4th ends up too American I think also.
