Hello everyone, I’m a young MGTOW(20) I’ve been consuming MGTOW related media on and off for a few years now but never got around to doing an introduction or becoming involved in the community. This is partly because I used to be a very shy and reserved person and partly because I’ve had a debilitating chronic condition for the last 6 years that has made it very difficult to commit to anything. Why past tense you might ask? I believe I’m finally well again, I’m able to think clearly and concentrate for the first time in 6 years and it’s really put things into perspective for me. I feel like a new man, not only can I think but any shyness I had before has gone. Coming back to this site was one of the first things I did once I realized the change in my condition, spending hours reading through the forums every day, something I was previously unable to do and this has reaffirmed my belief in the MGTOW philosophy and lifestyle. The title of this post is MGTOW by volition because I did not become a MGTOW like many of the men here have, I never had a red pill moment that changed my view on life, I became a MGTOW after finding out about the movement, The more I read the more I liked, I try to live my life by the saying “A smart man learns from his mistakes. A wise man learns from others mistakes”. Perhaps It’s a good thing I became ill, had I not, I would be studying psychology in university right now, jumping deeper into blue pill hell.
Now that I have my life back, I can begin with the endless goal of self improvement and start living my life on my own terms. Sorry for the long introduction.

A smart man learns from his mistakes. A wise man learns from other's mistakes.

Welcome! I am glad you made it here, in every sense.

welcome brother, it looks like you are one of the latest red pill generation that did not have to go to the female meat grinder to learn the truth.

I think it’s the minimalist lifestyle and emphasis on personal freedom and self improvement that drew me in, while I do agree with MGTOW philosophy perhaps this could be a way to bring in men who are having trouble swallowing the red pill.

Thanks Keymaster that means a lot to me coming from you, back when I was occasionally reading these forums I always looked out for your posts. I did reply in an email giving permission for you to use that for the testimonials, but perhaps you didn’t see it.
