MGTOW Are Not Terrorists – An Open Letter

Preamble:In light of a recent and tragic event that occurred in Toronto, media is focusing public attention on a group known as “Incel”, short for “involuntary celibate” as being responsible for violence against women.

As facts are still being investigated, no-one can be certain if there are also any victims who were men. However, MGTOW applauds the MEN who apprehended the suspect and the MEN who performed CPR on the victims.

The following is an open letter to journalists and the public at large, disavowing any perceived affiliation with the hate group known as ‘Incel’.

Dear esteemed reader,
After the terrorist attack committed against Toronto citizens, in which the accused Alek Minassian is being charged in relation to criminal use of a rented van against pedestrians, it has been discovered by our trustworthy mainstream media, that this individual identified with a hateful group known as ‘incel’ or Involuntarily Celibate.

In the aftermath, journalists have erroneously likened these ‘incels’ to Men’s Right’s Advocates, while also coupling blame upon free speech sections of the internet loosely referred to as the ‘manosphere’ and a group of white males subscribing to a made-up organization called ‘the alt-right’:

Let me be clear: This was an act of terrorism against innocent citizens. Furthermore, as legal citizens in a free society, located in the western hemisphere, our national identity upholds an ideology of not unjustly blaming any group, organization, or specific religion from the actions of an individual and can be considered a democratic freedom of guaranteed rights for legal, law abiding citizen(s).

That being said, MGTOW in no way represents violence against women because it is based on a decision to avoid women, and thus cannot be classified as ‘misogyny’ because there is no interaction. Full stop.

MGTOW chooses to not confront or engage women in any way, and being aware of current ‘expert’ constructs (or de-constructs depending on perspective) of gender fluid dogma taught in modern education, there may be more genders than anyone can anticipate, furthering the position of MGTOW to not engage in any way with one who identifies themselves as ‘female’.

I sincerely advocate empathy for the victims of this terrorist act, and their families and trust the legal apparatus to seek justice by way of ‘rehabilitation’.

MGTOW in no way connects to ‘incels’ or any Men’s Rights Advocate group. We are Men Going Their Own Way – the aim is to discover inner peace, serenity and the pursuit of happiness, apart from the daily risks of living in this current ‘inclusive’ society.

Anyone who commits an act of violence or oppression against women in the name of MGTOW is in no way affiliated with this group, as it would violate principle number one: AVOID WOMEN 100%.

MGTOW seeks peace in an increasingly dangerous world, caused by political factors beyond our control.

Morlock has nailed it. The perpetrator of this crime wished he had more contact with women in his life. MGTOW would like less contact with women because contact with women under the current western system of laws and culture almost inevitably brings exploitation of men by women.

What MGTOW and this guy share (and we should not be afraid to admit it because it is a legitimate frustration) is a frustration with the fruits of feminism and liberalism. Our response, however, is entirely different from his which was cruel, unethical, immoral and selfish.

The first thing the term “violence against women” this is a joke because guess who is the vast minority of victims of violence globally? We don’t need to pander to the chronic delusions of the average white woman that is a joke.
This honestly just reminds me of the Elliot Rodger case a mentally ill Man proceeding to commit violence. Feminist use the bodies of the victims as a soap box from which to spread propaganda. Against groups and movements who’s ideas they cannot actually debate, because they have no substantive arguments against them.

We live in an environment for the first time in history where gynocentric feminism has to face criticism. This is there response to criticism historical revisionism and slander. Feminism and Involuntary Celibates are cut from the same tree being entitlement and gynocentrism. The only difference is that feminsts want to expropriate wealth from men via taxes and the division of assets without compensation. (Expropriation of land and assets without compensation) Incel’s want pussy and they want it without compensation at any level or capacity.

Both of these movements worship women and that is toxic and it almost always leads to a man loosing his freedom and self worth. This entire smear campaign or the one that will eventually come is because. These nut cases fear the average man choosing freedom over pussy worship, financial slavery and civil and human rights abuses. MGTOW saves lives MSM, feminism, incels and gynocentrism ends them full f~~~ing stop.

MGTOW philosophy informs and teaches self respect and ownership, this is dangerous. Because a man who truly respects himself cannot be controlled or manipulated. To conclude f~~~ the media and f~~~ the likes of Jessica Valenti they are too stupid to actually honestly debate.

This applies to Leftard politics in general. The Left seek to shutdown opinions that don’t suit their own. When you do this you get a powder keg. Let’s assume this man tried to speak about his frustration of not being able to find a girlfriend, the loneliness he felt and how it all effected him. He would have been shamed and laughed out, shut down.

We get that here as well. A Muslim commits a crime and we are told “It’s not all Muslims” but then we are told domestic violence is a problem for all men to deal with.

For the benefit of those who would seek to disrupt this website as a matter of free speech, this article by Manspread Mansplainer is a “keeper” and should not be deleted by the moderator.
It is critical at this time of Toronto sadness not to become reactionary to sites like this and deprive the freedom of speech and while I know that I sound like Jordan Peterson, this freedom for which many died in two world wars, is easily lost.
I cannot overemphasize that those who don’t agree with MGTOW, should never ever shut us down, for then we have really become the totalitarian state we tried so hard to avoid.

MGTOW doesn’t hate women. We are not misogynists…I can’t say that often enough.

We went MGTOW because that was the appropriate gambling bet to take given the rotten odds given by the house (divorce courts/feminism/hashtag me too) There’s nothing hateful about avoiding a crapshoot. MGTOW’s regret that “Incel” frustration may have led to the incident, but no MGTOW is affiliated with this destructive type of thinking. A true MGTOW finds it just too much energy to bother with. We don’t live or want social drama. We’ve had enough of the various drama queens in our lives, and seek peace of mind.
Those are my thoughts anyway and I hope I’ve helped crystallize for other lurkers the “why” and “how” we think the way we do.

I agree with the previous posters. I sympathize with the victims and their families.

The reaction and possible spin on this event that I am reading troubles me. The media are trying to conflate incel’s with MGTOW and MRA. One of the professional forums I visit had many people bashing MGTOW and MRA’s for promoting this. I spent some time explaining how incel’s and PUA’s are not MGTOW and do not reflect the beliefs of MGTOW. We know this, but showing others will be an uphill battle.

Media and certain other groups already despise MGTOW and some want it seen as a hate group. This event gives them evidence, though wrong, to support their belief.

I think we should make an effort to temper some of the more angry posts we write/read here. I understand the anger many feel from getting screwed in a divorce or child custody, false DV charges, etc. I know that the vitriolic posts I have read are just venting and not encouraging violence. But, how is that seen by a newbie or an outsider? I know we don’t sink to the level of some the Reddit forums.

So I am torn. Do we acknowledge the pain and suffering of men, but caution them in how they express their frustration? Or do we say screw what anyone thinks and full steam ahead?

The first option sounds like reacting to the media and culture. The second is more MGTOW. However, if we follow the second, we risk allowing the pollution of MGTOW. Any disgruntled man can do something violent, claim to be MGTOW, and the media will have a field day.

What are your thought?

To have our cake and eat it too would require the moderators to render those Topics filled with vitriol invisible to the non active members / general public.. most likely too much work for the few folks who own and operate Mgtow.com

I agree that being incel is a poor reason for being a MGTOW. Perhaps it’s selling out to discuss amongst ourselves how to dampen the angry posts, not saying you can’t vent, but that we don’t condone or encourage violence. Are you going your own way if you react to the media accusing you of promoting violence against women? Is ignoring it any better?

These are issues MGTOW is going to be subjected to as it grows. Detractors are going to throw accusations against us. Do we ignore and just keep moving on? It’s easy when we just let our actions represent our motive, but the media is going to cast us down with any and every denigration they can.
