There’s a lot of crap on TV, especially UK TV like EastEnders, Coronation Street etc… Boring soap opera’s. Stuff that’s really PC in nature that’s boring. MTV is a leftist nightmare filled with propaganda. But anime is diverse in its choice so it caters to all audiences which brings me to this anime I found. Aho Girl (Clueless Girl). Hilarious but I kinda feel bad for girl in it for been completely hopeless. The girl in Aho Girl keeps harassing a guy who just wants to get on with his life and not be dragged down by a useless women.

Hehehe. Good ol anime. I havnt watched anything good in a while but anime can pretty hit or miss in my experience. Either they are really good or really bad. This one looks pretty funny but I foresee a reconciliation at the end where the girl gets the guy and blah blah blah.

Ill gve it it try when I have some free time though.

Aho Girl is pretty good, and yes, you do sort of end up feeling sympathetic towards her.

I’m 60 and enjoy anime.

I don’t know if its cultural or if its because of the form……but it seems much freer about the topics it can cover.

How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.

I will have to give that a shot. Admittedly even though I enjoy it, I don’t watch much. Started with Sailor Moon, later on DBZ(and the original Dragon Ball series after) and Hamtaro. Some stuff such as Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, I watched too casually to understand everything. Watched all of FLCL and still didn’t. Paranoia Agent was one of the first to really have a lasting impact on my worldview. Later on there was Excel Saga which was exceptional, then some others that were a bit more forgettable like Desert Punk or Queen’s Blade. I do recall some of Witchblade at least.

Some I’d like to try are Beserk, apparently having almost straight up been copied by Dark Souls, and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.

Cowboy Bebop, Spike is the quintessential MGHOW.

Samurai Champloo, Also a pretty good one.

Attack on Titan is a cool show, but the chick (Mikasa) is way overpowered.

If you want to watch an anime that has ZERO women in it and no silliness or anything like that, I would recommend Akagi.
