It has been widely reported that the labor-market male participation rate is at near all time lows.

But just what does it take for the BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics)  to count a working age male in the official labor participation rate?

A good guess, would be that the BLS likely makes the determination based on the FICA contributions of a male U.S. person.

Thus, any male who works odd jobs and receives income that is not legally subject to voluntary FICA contributions, would be earning money in the Black Market economy.    [Note: The term ‘Black Market’ in this case is used to mean that the transactions of the marketplace are not seen by the official employment statistics.]

How many MGTOW have figured this out?

How many MGTOW have realized that they can take home more money for their efforts by keeping the social-tax off their backs?

Down here we’ve got a huge black market of tradies doing work for cash, so it doesn’t go through the books, no reciepts so its not traceable by the authorities, avoid taxes on both ends and some groups are working full time for cash while claiming unemployment benefits from the Government.

There are heaps of plumbers, sparkies, brickies, mechanics etc who are doing this here.

The 20% of men who are “not participating in the labor force” are feeding themselves somehow.

What they aren’t doing is paying taxes.  As the ridiculous public debt level approaches the tipping point we can expect to see a lot more whining about that than we ever have about inconsequential things like women not being able to find husbands.

The more we men with useful skills trade our skills with each other, the less we use money, the less money we have to earn, the less we pay in taxes and the less our efforts go to support those who would use us without recognition or gratitude.

I encourage all of you to find five guys and sit around a table and talk about what you can do for each other that can save you all money. You can trade skills, discounts, hookups, advantageous information… all of it helps to starve the system that would prefer to keep on treating us like draft animals.

Doc, that is an excellent idea for all the guys here.

In the last few years I moved back to where my family lives. We are Italian and were never fans of paying taxes. We have an extended group of carpenters, pumbers, electricians, lawyers, and even doctors that work off the books. All rates are lowered and everybody is happy. Except our feminist farktards.

If fact these guys are so busy with us cash customers they can’t find time to fit us all in.

When politicians and bureaucrats lie steal and squander public money, it’s just common sense to look after your own interests, I don’t blame anyone that’s able to do cash jobs. Unfortunately I’m a professional employee, so I can’t take advantage of this, but anyone that can should.
The majority of all those PC bureaucrats are feminist woman, just wasting space demanding respect and growing their asses. Inventing new ways to over regulate and make things unnecessarily complicated. The more you can unplug from society the better. Once there is a good reason to pay taxes, get married, and listen to feminism I’m sure we all will until then good luck to those that have figured out how to unplug.

When the war cemeteries are half full of the corpses of dead conscripted women, only then will women have earned the right to speak of equality. Sidecar “A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do.” - Bob Dylan

Doc’s correct, as usual. I went Galt 12 years ago, fell purposely into the lowest tax bracket (legal), invested only in cash instruments (legal), do as much work on my house and property without my efforts being taxed (legal) and often exchange services with others in the neighborhood. I might help a neighbor clear his leaves off during the fall and he might help me with doing electrical wiring. I also religiously follow every traffic law, even the slow-ass speed limits, to avoid being taxed by the police in the form of traffic fines.

I even buy discounted gift cards for places like Home Depot that in essence not only offset the local sales tax but gives me a bonus on top of it.
On a special deal I once bought around $500 worth of Home Depot cards, all partially used (people sell them to the same site), at a discount of 12.5%. I’ve already used them all, too. Since my local store has to charge 8.5% sales tax I get a bonus of an extra 4% savings on top of that, and since they’re gift cards they can be used on any sale.

    Here’s a reference site I use for this: http://www.giftcardgranny.com/buy-gift-cards/

Just another weapon to use. My advice: if you’re planning a decent or major purchase at a store you would be wise to check to see if you can buy discounted gift cards to use for your purchase.

Makes sense that MGTOW make a large portion of black market economy. Many have legal and financial issues due to ex’s so have to “work under the table” to have enough financial ability to just survive.

I really do like the ideas that all of have concerning exchange of skills. Unfortunately I’m completely screwed unless we have a revolution or long term civil unrest. I’m a bodyguard for a judge and have my own business on the side providing the same service as well as teaching survival skills. By survival skills I’m referring to such things as handgun and rifle/carbine use, unarmed defense, edged weapons, emergency medical skills, etc. I’m also an FBI/US Army trained bomb disposal technician and had state and federal licenses to manufacture high explosives for a few years.

My point is that I’m essentially useless until lightening hits the craphouse…then I become the most popular guy around. But since my only skills are hurting people and breaking s~~~ my opportunities for side-work are obviously limited.

I am (immodestly!) a very good chef but other than that I have no constructive talents. Can’t sing or dance either. Anybody have any ideas?

I’m learning that a number of major corporations are providing pay offs to these radical pressure groups.

Another way to hobble them is to start buying more used stuff and buying local whenever possible. A lot of older stuff is made to a higher quality standard too. I had a nice little egg bartering operation going until predators took out my chickens.

@EC: The only way one my friends survived was by doing side work as his ex took a huge chunk of his real pay check. She was such a whack job that his oldest daughter moved back in with him as soon as she could swing it.

So Fang, you don’t think you could train your survival and fighting skills for something tangible? One would think this would be a dead giveaway for you.
