What are all your general opinions on tattoos.

I am going to get some done and I was just wondering the general mgtow consensus on them.

I have already made my mind, I just wish for points of views.

I don’t care for tattoos either way. I’ve seen some great designs especially on a show called Ink Master on Spike. I’m not really sure if I’ll ever get any tattoos to begin with, because since becoming MGTOW, I’ve started to only dress for me and not for other people. And in my eyes, getting tattoos on your body is to show them off to other people.

Depends. I know there are some guys that hate tattoos on women, some are okay. I hate the basic bitch tattoos, astrological signs, a random feather, or a paragraph on her rib cage. Would never have a serious relationship with a girl who has a tramp stamp. But some tattoos on women are ok to me.

As for men and myself? Don’t give a s~~~, really. There are plenty of dumb tattoos, hell maybe it’s an inside joke. I’ve heard they’re addictive, gotta get another one, and another one. It’s your body, your prerogative. I’ve sort of hated what my parents said.

“That tattoo will be looking bad when you’re 70 years old!”

But when I’m 70, there will be no part of me that’s looking good, I’m gonna be a saggy, nasty old mess. I try not to judge people who have tattoos, it’s whatever. But people will always judge, myself included, but as a mgtow, probably don’t care. Go for it, man. I’ve heard from buddies don’t get band names, because in a few years, you might not listen to them. Also, as you probably know, it can bar certain employment options.

Like I said, go for it dude. It doesn’t bother me. I think my generation is a lot more open about it. It doesn’t make you a delinquent or anything.

I have 2, one on my back and the other on the inside of my right bicep, so it’s not easily visible, if may I ask, what is your desing or what are you thinking?

I think tattoos are ok as long as you don’t have them on your face or in very visible places, that say “Hey look at me I have low self-esteem and I desperately need attention” or some bulls~~~ like that, unless you work in the industry of course.

All I can say is make damn sure that it is what you want and to look for several artists and choose wisely, take a wide look at the works of the artists and be very clear what style you want for your tattoo, so the artist you pick can do a great job.

In any case we are here to help and give our view. feel free to contact me, I May not be an expert but I briefed myself a lot before getting mine.

I don’t care much for body Graffiti nor slut stamps.

Trollops with tattoos is the second red flag to look out for.

    No good on women.
    Good on men,
My generation had a rule. .
If you put on a t- shirt the tattoo shouldn’t show. Start with a small one. .see how you like it in a month. .

It’s well established fact that tats is a turn-on for women. Women get tats because they assume it’s a turn-on for men as well, but I doubt that.
I have a wrap-around dragon on my ankle done 15 years ago (by a woman btw) I do want to get more, but can’t decide what. I want to tat a word “no” in all languages tattooed on my left forearm (where QBs have their plays cheat-sheets. Every time I need to say no – I’d say: “wait a second, gotta check with my playbook here….ok – the answer is NO”. What do you guys think?

I wish to get a sleeve type tat on my left calf.

Yeah Silverstone my parents would always say that to me, haha thanks for the point of view.

don’t like tats on a woman and not for myself. if it’s small on a woman, i can overlook it. i always figured i would regret getting a tattoo when i was older so i never got one.

I would NEVER get a tattoo. I don’t know what’s the purpose for having them, and what good it does. I’ve seen people with them and some of them look VERY nasty, especially when they have piercings on them. Personally, I think tattoos are disgusting, they give people a bad image, and I don’t see how it benefits anyone. It’s basically spending money to make yourself look bad. Not for me; EVER!

It surely doesn’t look good once you’re in late 70’s that’s for sure.

I’ve always preferred what is natural over artificial, so tattoos, bleached hair, fake tans, ear rings, and anything like that has never appealed to me. That goes for either gender. Makeup can be fine if its not overdone.

The main reason why I am going to get them is because tattoos, especially large ones is a f~~~ you to society. When I used to smoke partially the reason why I choose to was to separate myself from everyone else.

I personally like the aesthetics of them as well.

Also I cant lift weights possibly for ever due to an injury and Ive always liked to improve/change my body and now I cant.

As for myself, tattoos have always seemed to be a useless, ugly, pointless, and expensive way to risk hepatitis infection (or worse). No, thank you. But I don’t care one way or the other if someone else has a tattoo. If it’s a particularly stupid one I’ll laugh at it, and them, but other than that it’s none of my business what kind of foolishness they do with their body.

Just so long as I don’t have to pay for it, that is.

I don’t have any tattoos, but if I were to get some I’d make sure they were useful, like a yardstick, conversion numbers, formulas, nut and bolt sizes along with thread silhouettes for matching nuts and bolts. If I had to look at it all the time at least it would be useful, and your friends will be asking to borrow your arm…

I grew up in the 70s and saw what my father’s WWII vet buddies tats looked like after 30 to 35 years. I will tell you they are not a very pretty sight after that much time has passed. My father never got one.

A tattoo anywhere on a woman is automatic disqualification as far as I’m concerned.

It’ll be a cold day in hell before I put a tattoo on myself.

@lottery: I’m assuming you’re younger. I believe it to be a bigger act of rebellion not to get one. You would be just like your peers most of whom seem to be tatted. Getting a tat these days is running with the herd.

I have no real opinion on it.
Sometimes they’re fine, sometimes they’re lame and trashy, it just depends.

This is by far the best suggestion for tattoos I’ve ever come across.

I don’t care if the tattoo is a quarter the size of a small postage stamp, between her toes.
    It’s not a red flag, it’s a STOP sign.

Those ones at the bottom of their backs are the worst.
Every time I see one, I wonder whats the number of guys that have stared at that tat while banging her from behind.
