I have a nine year old son. He was looking over my shoulder once when I was messing around on this site. He asked me what it meant (MGTOW), so I told him. I gave him a brief explanation of what it meant. Like, I barely scratched the surface. My question is, when is a good time to talk to your child in depth about mgtow? being that I am a parent that not only encourages, but expects free thinking and letting him make his own choices on things. I guide, but ultimately the decision is his. But, to give him a total explanation of MGTOW I feel may influence his choice due to my admitted bias since I am one. How would I approach this in a way that would give him the info he seeks, without making his decision for him? And at what age should I have this talk with him?

Everything we do is biased as parents. Even when you think you’re being neutral.

My son is only 5 but if I were to ever discuss this with him, I would wait until he is of dating age.

be unbiased, weigh the pros and cons, simplify complex subjects such as divorce, biology, wealth.

and the time is right when he is a teenager.

MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.

Do you want grand kids? I dont have any children but i would say society’s influence will be constant and stong. I think it would take alot to over ride that.

With respect, at his age he needs to know that girls are not his friends.

I think you said it very well (In your post). This is a personal choice I found the site and knowledge on my own. I feel any child (towards becoming a young adult) should definitely understand the risks of modern day women but it will be ultimately there decision to decide what they belive. I for one do not plan having kids. But I do feel if I did it would inform him in the same manner you mentioned. I read some really good posts here and am glad you brought this up. Rock on man.

When he asks questions give him an answer but I think he is old enough to learn a few fundamental truths. Either way you probably know better than just about anyone.

A MGTOW is a man who is not a woman's bitch!

I did have a short conversation with my son about something that happened to him in kindergarten. It kind of relates to this topic.

There is a girl that he says keeps lying and stating that he is picking on her. He got in some mild trouble.

I essentially told him to stay away from her since they are obviously believing her word over his. It’s hard to explain but I essentially told my son that it’s because he’s a boy and those kinds of things happen unfortunately but it’s not his fault- just stay away from her and if she won’t leave you alone, go tell on her.

I felt guilty and bad for saying it like that but I felt compelled to say something about the reality of the situation.

He hasn’t complained about her since but I feel leery about saying too much and I even feel that I said too much at this point.

I recommend if you have a small kid just say that your son should watch it when he is with the girls especially at their behavior and when he is a teen give him mgtow knowledge.

Just an east coast asshole who likes to curse, If you get offended by words like fuck, cunt, shit, piss, bitch or any racial slurs then you just scroll down.

I don’t have kids, but I’d end up telling him to avoid interacting with girls even at his age.

Boys can get sex assault charges places on them in this day and age.

    Just for interacting with them!

The world is seriously f~~~ed up if a 6 year old boy can get screwed over by the court system just because he kissed a girl’s hand…

I feel sorry for boys under 18 years old. They still have to put up with the gynocentric system whether they like it or not which sucks b~~~~ big time.

Perhaps around the time he’s 13 would be a good time to talk to him about MGTOW stuff?

    Nailed it.

    He is too young.

Absolutely. A small kid will be repeating what you’ve said out of context without understanding it. It won’t have a good outcome for either of you.

Perhaps around the time he’s 13 would be a good time to talk to him about MGTOW stuff?

Exactly. But at puberty you’re the last person he’s going to listen to.
Discreetly give him a copy of “The Manipulated Man”,, a very quick read that can never be “Unseen”
Give him monetary incentive to read it if you have to. Most of it will not be believed but he’ll think it’s a scream.
Experience over the next 12 months and the rest of his life will confirm it. It’ll be a real life long bond between you.
Books like “The Predatory Female” can only be appreciated by men who’ve been married or in long term relations~~~s.
“The Anatomy of Female Power” could be another bonus book but again, only at puberty.

Oh I know he is definitely way too young right now. I basically told him that it was a way of life that focuses on self improvement and making your own path in life. I kept it basic. But the situation made me think on it a little. He’s really, really smart so I’m sure he’s already googled it by now. He was smart enough to figure out his mother left her debit card info on his tablet once and hit her for $50 before she caught it, so you see what I’m up against here. Gotta say though, that was a hilarious phone call from his mother. I digress….

But thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it.

Great question, one I will not have to face. I think as soon as they can speak is at least a good time to encourage critical thinking in a level they are capable of. Certainly by the time they are in school because the gynocentric educational system, if unchecked, will ruin him.

    Never too young.

Now that is not to say you should force it down his throat or anything. People need to make there own choices but at the same time it’s a harsh world out there and their is definitely no need to dissuade him from learning.

If you happen to learn these things young it is a lot easier because your not vested in the blue pill system yet.

I think you went with the best path. Definitely better than assuring him that girls are sweetness and sunshine, that’s just setting a boy up for doom these days.

I am in the never too young school. Dad should be able to scale it in age appropriate terms.

I started having trouble with girls in kindergarten (tattling, back stabbing, the usual), and it only escalated as we got older. I got the blue pill advice which obviously made things worse. I would have been much better off with some red pill guidance from a wise mentor.

It’s a blend, starting long ago.
Starting with basic principles such as “love your neighbor as yourself”
    Do not lie.
    Do not harm other people.
Timeless principles that apply to ALL mankind.

There’s not a day that goes by wherein I’m not telling myself, “Don’t even be like a male version of that old woman in the original movie of, ‘Great Expectations’ who rationalized raising a man hater, after she herself had been stood up at her wedding.

None intend to raise woman haters, but I do intend to raise, if you will, a “hatred and injustice hater” someone who pragmatically sees things in the light of reality, but then acts with a strong moral compass. Pity the mgtow senior who sees their offspring slaughtered by a system they were not warned of and shame on that same senior if the decisions are not well educated and fairly arrived at. I want my child to have the fulfillment of a child or children. I cannot stand the thought of that same child going through the ‘no fault divorce’ grinder where women are given, on a pillow, NO strings attached, the key to destruction.

"It seems like there's times a body gets struck down so low, there ain't a power on earth that can ever bring him up again. Seems like something inside dies so he don't even want to get up again. But he does."

Having to figure out the truth all on your own is NOT doing anyone any favors, tell the kid the vast majority of females went totally AWOL when it comes to just about everything, tell him they’re nuts and will do anything to suppress a man into her service, a service that only serves her and her alone.

I can still remember (as a kid) what it was like to have difficult questions swept under the carpet, and how much I appreciated honesty from adults, treat them like little adults but don’t beat them up with the truth, put it to them mildly…

I have a son whos 19 now and lives with me.

You have to be careful what you say to kids because they can repeat things out of context and it can get you both in trouble.

I would say “Ill explain it to you as i think you are old enough to understand.”

One thing you could start with is by saying Girls are made of sugar and spice is a complete lie.

Teach him to stay away from trouble and trouble makers especially if they are female.

Ask him if he ever notices people preferring and liking girls over boys.

Little small things over time add up.

frankly my dear i don't give a damn
