Sometimes I will make a large batch of food on a weekend and divide it up and freeze it and eat it throughout the week. If it’s delicious I don’t mind eating the same thing every day.

It makes it so easy to just grab your lunch out of the fridge in the morning, not having to worry about it the night before work. A great way to ensure you control what you’re eating.

Yea I’m getting into this big batch stuff too. I saved a bunch of the containers you get from day to day microwave meals ,chilli, curry and so on.

Now I make up my own meals and freeze them in what essentially is an already perfect storage and cooking container.

Now easy microwave meals are half the price, taste better I just need to go to the freezer.

Top tip: add a thin film of water on top prior to freezing. Prevents freezer burn and the added moistures handy when reheating.

Is toasting toast or making a tv dinner in the microwave cooking?

How many of you MGTOW like to cook?

Well my pic says it doesn’t it? Count me in.

I cook for myself because: It’s cheaper than going out. It’s healthier than eating out. It’s made for my taste.

I don’t have time to cook very often though, so I eat out about half of the time.

How many of you MGTOW have been in a relationship with a woman who could cook, and I mean really cook.

Just one and she wasn’t very good at it, although she tried to impress me with her skills and her huge recipe book.

    I once dated a feminist …

Are you some kind of masochist?

    … who would argue that

    …who cares?

I did urinate in her half empty bottle of scope mouthwash. I don’t suppose she realized she was swilling p~~~ amongst her gums.

    WTF dude?

I have to make my own meals, and it’s not easy to every night because the state only gives me $92 a month in SNAP, which covers 2 weeks at my discount grocery store. I don’t cook for pleasure, I do it because I have to, except Sunday nights when my dad makes chicken legs and a secondary item. I make a big salad on Mondays (bag salad, grape tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, black olives, white kidney beans, an onion sliced, shredded sharp cheddar, olive oil, cottage cheese, black vinegar, and chopped green onions for topping. Tuesdays is parmesan cream pasta; Wednesday is pizza; Thursday is whole chicken; Friday is tilapia, steamed broccoli, and either cottage cheese or canned spinach with green onions on top, and Saturday is whatever.

After my mother moved out before I turned 11, I had to learn how to cook my own meals since there was no one home for 3 hours after school. I learned on macaroni and cheese, where I kept making the pasta too hard. Luckily starting the next school year and for 7 school years after I had cooking classes to take. Good thing I entered high school when I did, otherwise I would be taking Spanish because my middle school ended the cooking class that same year. I took a cooking class for a semester each year in high school. So instead of my dad doing all the cooking for us, I cook my own meals 6/7 days a week.

I believe learning how to cook is a very valuable skill to learn. Face it, eating out 3 times a day gets pricy, and there may not always be a second person in your life to do it for you. Besides learning how to cook is one form of independence.

Besides speaking of food recipes, I downloaded this man cave video that contains a good meat recipe, but it’s VERY time consuming. it’s worth it if you like to cook and have several hours to do it. Here it is:

Doesn’t that all look good?! Mm! Makes you want to host a party in your special areas. I would love to prepare Italian beef with peppers in buns.

I hear pressure-cookers are good. I might try it.

I do like cooking healthy. Right now, I’m experimenting with different types of meat in salads.
