I was just watching WWE Goldberg: The Ultimate Collection, and I am still in awe of this dude almost 20 years later. Just everything men have done and continue to do. Just felt like saying it.

In my city they are building a new sky scraper.

I have never seen a woman on the job.

I used to work in a fab shop. I operated a plasma arc cutting machine worth a quarter of a million dollars. I welded and fitted a bit. Women in the shop? One. A 6’3″ red-haired German Brynhildr type. Good breeding stock. I almost died one day when a 40 foot long, 10 foot wide, 1/2 inch thick plate fell out of the dog clamps of the overhead crane. Most ironworkers I know have scars. People, especially women, take these kind of things for granted. People, most likely men, risked their lives to build that s~~~, from the beginning of the process to the end.

Funny you mention Goldberg, Snake. I was watching a bunch of videos of his over the past couple of weeks and remembering how awesome he was! As cheesy as the acting in WWE/WWF is, it’s still ridiculously entertaining for some reason. Vince McMahon really built an empire there. When I’m nearing 70, I hope to be HALF the success that guy is.

I’ve gotten back into wrestling a bit in the past few months, but I am losing interest. WWE is PG now, RAW is too long, too many lack mic skills, and it’s altogether too predictable with not enough payoff. Then I try getting into this UFC horses~~~ they got going on. I watched that Rousey vs Holm match. It was ok… and it was women, although most matches are boring.

Here’s a fun “man moment” for you… two days in a row now I have run into an “ex” randomly in public. I ejected this female from my life because she had a beef with me not calling her often enough and instead of saying “I’d like to spend more time with you” she got all passive-aggressive and tried to make me chase her. So I kerbed her.

Yesterday I walked into my local coffee shop and saw her sitting with a friend of mine. He knows her from the same place I do and I don’t care if he talks to her, but as soon as I walked in, she got up and left. Again today I walk into a different coffee shop and she’s here with some other guy and as soon as she saw me, they got up and left.

As a man, I go where I want and I do what I want and I’m not leaving for anyone or anything until I’m damn well ready.
