Memorial Day is formally set aside to remember the men (and a few women, but mostly men) who gave their lives for the United States. You all know this, of course.
I wonder what the men who fought in WW2 and Korea would say about the state the nation is in today, and the mess their children and grandchildren have created on the back of their sacrifice? Actually, I have a pretty good idea.
God bless you, fallen servicemen, and may you rest in peace.

Anonymous43yeah, something like I invaded Africa, fought in the desert for 2 years in the heat, wind sand, the flies, and the air raids, the artillery, the f~~~ing Nazis, then I invaded Italy, and fought the Italians then the Germans again all the way up the Boot, fought through Bavaria and then patrolled to keep the Russians out of Europe, then got called up again for Korea, fought the NK and the Red Chinese, froze my ass off ay Chosin, then Invaded at Pusan and pushed the commies all the way to the Yalu river only to get pushed back again, came home and worked in a factory putting hubcaps on Buicks for 30 years until retirement, and all I see on the news is women wearing c~~~ caps at the presidential inauguration, bulls~~~ terrorists blowing up children at a concert and sissies who want blankets and kittens to pet in their safe space? What the f~~~ planet am I on, I want to get off.
May 7 has provided about the best summation possible—good job man!
Anonymous42Every generation has their own freedom to fight for, only this time the war is from within.
Freedom/liberty is never a gift; it must be earned.
The height for freedom is never ending and will always find a new front of attack. Military or political or social or cultural, the aggressors are ever vigilant for any sign of weakness.

Edmund Burke
What the f~~~ planet am I on,
I ask myself that question everyday. I liked it better before I knew what a Imam was. It will take a miracle to save our world.
Never liked that Burke quote. There’s a lot more evil than good in the world. Evil wins most of the time whether good men do anything or not. One evil man in charge of the military can oppress the country, no matter how many good people there are and no matter what they do.
Women are better at multitasking? Fucking up several things at once is not multitasking.
Anonymous54A big Thank You and Big respect to our Combat Veterans.
We know you lost some of your Brothers.
This should be a day of quiet reverence.
