MAssacres by the government dont count. That said David Koresh was a nut job.

Therein lies the problem. Hive minded people who accept MSM propaganda dismiss any government wrongdoing because those massacred “were nut jobs”.

How many of us here on this forum would be painted with the broad brushstroke of “nut job”, if we were executed by a SWAT team in the middle of the night, on your own property?
    ————————————————–
    Try this on for size:

“This in latest news: A self-professed “MGTOW”, a radicalized, right wing movement, was shot and killed in his home today when SWAT Officials responded to a noise complaint. The Man killed was active on the radicalized right wing websites and frequently “liked” comments that included violence and objectification of women.

Up next, Why you should buy another Kitten! Stay tuned….”
    ————————————————–
That’s about how it would go down. Easily paint those massacred as “nut jobs” (especially right wing) and NOBODY GIVES A F~~~.

David Koresh was out there. Definitely. His views of religion were strange as hell. But that doesn’t give government carte blanche access to murder it’s citizens.

He was guilty of being a weirdo. But a weirdo on his own property, eating his own food, and largely left those outside of his compound alone.

That was a Massacre, complete with innocent children being killed by chemical weapons. But I guess that doesn’t matter, because “he was a nut job”.

No worries, I was just pontificating. I’ve been agitated as f~~~ the last two days because of the Vegas thing. One of my favorite hobbies is shooting, and the left have spent the last 48 hours tirelessly blaming the guns rather than the shooter.

My real annoyance is that this will likely kill the bills that were being pushed to prevent the waiting period on buying suppressors. We were SOOO close to getting suppressors with a same-day background check! My guess is we can kiss that idea goodbye. No politician in his right mind is going to sign off on that in the next six months. Would be political suicide, unfortunately.

Please don’t mess with suppressor laws. They already take half a year to get cleared for and i’m planning on two rifles that i’m gonna need cans for.

Couldn’t agree more. There has been a concerted effort to get the waiting period killed since Republicans have the house, senate and WH. I’m sure the efford died the moment MSM announced

    “SHOCKING NEWS FROM VEGAS”

I was really excited for them. I just can’t throw money down on an item that I have to wait over 6 months and govt red tape to enjoy.

SilencerShop.com tells you to forget that you ordered the can, because it takes so long to get cleared for it. One day out of the blue, you get a letter in the mail that tells you that your can is now available for pick-up, and you’re like “What Can”?

It doesn’t really matter if it is worst massacre or not, it is a massacre where 60 died and 500+ injured.

I find it chilling “coincidence” that Blade Runner 2049 premiere was cancelled following the massacre.

For those that did not watch it, Blade Runner is a 30 some years old movie with themes of dystopian future with themes of corporate power, omnipresent police, genetic programming.

Now many things did not materialize from original movie, but, … 30 years later premiere gets cancelled. I think those dystopian times are here.

Pete, I respect your opinions. But, the largest massacre in U.S. history is the War Between the States.

Spot on Faust, particularly when the Confederate Armies we’re putting old men and young boys who had no training, limited supplies, shortages of weapons against well supplied, Federal combat veterans who had force and terrain superiority.

I won’t even mention the Federal Ironclads actions against confederate cities and shipping.

OK fine lets limit the definition to massacre with small arms—happy?

Hold on there Lawyer man, that’s discrimination against T-Rex people, it’s not their fault that they have disproportionate arm to torso ratios.

Best be looking for that court summons in the mail!

No. Blacks were hunted for fun.

Death done by governments isn’t considered to be a crime, just excess. When done by an individual, it is considered to be a massacre or crime. When done by an organized group, it is terrorist.
