Is the May 28th collapse for real?

A speaker that has been on fox news was talking with stefan monyleux (great youtuber) and he says it is one hundred percent going to happen.

Ive also heard Ron Paul say it will happen.

Many youtube videos were made about this as well but I noticed all of them had disable comments.

Ive also heard some stories of Putin being responsible.http://beforeitsnews.com/self-sufficiency/2016/03/putin-and-russian-general-warns-of-us-collapse-in-28-may-2016-america-could-be-taken-over-2501466.html

Anyone with knowledge about this know the probability of this happening or if its just a total fake.

    Thanks

I’m pretty sure that day will come and go like any other.

Just like any other doomsday that was predicted.

Our debt is piled so high it’s only a mater of time before the floor gives way, then it all falls into the foundation like a demolition team imploding a tall skyscraper (no pun intended).

If the weather people can’t predict what’s going to happen in the near future, how would anyone else predict what’ll happen in 11 days from now?

The article tells that US dollar is likely to have some problems. And expects a stock market collapse too. But my opinion is, behind many of those stocks there are companies with factories that do the real work, and that will have value, regardless of the value of the dollar or whatever currency used. And there are a lot of brave bad asses who will buy up fallen stocks to earn money, too. The whole collapse thing looks like something temporary, maybe last a half decade or so, like the last crisis.

And I think, one cannot “collapse” things if he tells it in beforehand. Even if he is Putin. People might expect s~~~ and not be scared. He loses effect of surprise with this, a large thing on emotional stock markets. (if you don’t believe emotions on stock market, look up some charts from 9/11 or the beginning days of real estate crisis, or similar big events) So, either this article is a big hoax, or this is a strong way by Putin to tell that he theoretically could do it if he wanted. Some cold war annoying of the US and saying big things. But in reality, no rational politician should want war, because it takes a huge lot of money from both sides, even if they don’t count casualties. So, if, let’s say US and Russia fought, any other countries would win by staying out of it.

But, to intend some pun, US debt of country is large enough to care for itself. As I heard in some news, in the last few years there was some crisis when everything stopped for weeks because your government simply ran out of money.

This is my stance on it as well. I’m not saying it would be good for my portfolio if the dollar collapsed, but in the end if a company has a factories in Vietnam and is also selling massive amounts of their product all over Asia, Europe, and Africa…its not like losing some American business is going to put them under like it would for a company with a factory in Wisconsin who only sold their product domestically. It would hurt in the short term but in the long run we’d recover or other countries would pick up our slack. I actually view global corporations as a hedge against the dollar since they don’t only deal in the dollar. In the end I’m investing in companies that are going to continue to produce and sell a product at a profit, and in no way is the dollar as a unit of currency vital for a business to perform that function when plenty of other currencies are available.
