Matt Lauer’s wife apparently kicked him out of the “family house”. I’m just wondering under what authority? Because she paid for it? Yeah, didn’t think so.

Why was Matt Lauer’s wife able to kick him out of the house that he worked and paid for? Because, vagina….. And frankly at this point, it’s just understood. The outrage went out the door decades ago.

The man goes out and works his ass off for years in order to buy her a home. It’s never really his. She can have him removed in a heart beat. And WE ALL KNOW IT.

It’s been said many times “She’s not yours, it’s just your turn.” Same goes for the house you pay for. It’s not yours, it’s hers. It’s just your turn to live there. But lucky for you, it’s ALWAYS your turn to make the payment.

I’d might feel bad for a normal dude, but Matt Lauer, not really. I do not support adultery from either gender. It’s against the bible and normal society. It’s just wrong.

I agree with you. But, the “victim” doesn’t always get to kick out the cheater. The one with the moral high ground doesn’t always get to kick out the one that’s been immoral. The one factor that is present in 99% of the cases where one spouse “kicks out” the other spouse is that the vagina doesn’t move. I’m one of those 99%. I very quickly realized that if I stuck around there would be hell to pay, and it would be my bill.

And this is common place. It’s a joke. It’s a cliche. It’s so understood that it’s just the way it goes that we all go along with it. We read it and never give it a second thought. And if you go against the grain, you get “the one phone call” to the police and you go the f~~~ to jail.

Dude, I totally agree. This is why men have to have backbones and be proactive when there is a hint of a major problem… Here’s a true story about me. Me and my now ex-wife were having issues. She completely shut down talk, intimacy, etc. I VAR’d her to find out what was going on. Since she moved into my house (pre-martial) I was terrified that if we waited longer, she’d do something like call the cops or something. So, I tried three times to give her a lifeline to fix our marriage, she declined all of them. She actually asked for an open marriage (another thing I am vehemently against), I called the cops and put them on notice of a possible false accusation of DV AND filed for divorce. She even said I’d have to get the sheriff here to evict her. The cops seemed to feel for me, so they made a few wellness visits to make sure I was okay. She saw me buddy buddy with the cops and she moved out a few days later.

The power that a legal partner has over you is just so great these days. G-d only knows what she would had done if I was kicked out of my own house that I had years before even meeting her. I will never put myself in that position again. Hence, no marriage. It’s a horrid institution and I will preach my story to all who would listen.
