Hi guys. Master of Orion pc game was my first love in games. It was my first pc game that I bought & my reason for buying my first pc. I found out about this reboot for this amazing Legendary classic from 1993 and I am hoping they do it right on this game. I still play Master of Orion 2 (thanks to gog.com) on my pc every now & then.

Anyway, for all you Orion fans, just a heads up, for what’s stirring in the weeds.
🙂
I’m not into computer games, but I discovered MYST / RIVEN / EXILE and was instantly hooked. They were my first computer games. Sleeping and eating was actually a drag.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.I’m not into computer games, but I discovered MYST / RIVEN / EXILE and was instantly hooked. They were my first computer games. Sleeping and eating was actually a drag.
Those were my following games I bought after Orion. I enjoyed those games so much. 🙂 I haven’t played those in forever…I may have to dig those up and dust them off again.
Thanks for that flash to the past with those.
Cheers man
Tried to play MYST once, I was immediately confused and turned it off after about 15 minutes of wandering around not knowing what to do, since there were no instructions or guidance whatsoever. Though the 1998 PC Complete book here, has the complete walkthrough for MYST in it.
I guess that’s one of the things I liked so much about Myst. I wasted countless hours going all over that island trying to figure out all the s~~~. 🙂
If this MoO reboot works out well I’m expecting other game publishers to do the same and revamp old titles. I used to spend hours on end playing turn-based strategy games but when I really got hooked is when the 4x games came out, especially the “sandbox” types like Freelancer, Star Wolves, or Moun&Blade and Skyrim. With limited time available one of those games would take me a year to explore correctly. Fortunately, we have walkthroughs.

#GenderSegragationNow!Yeah, I am trying not to get all hyped about it, but I do hope it works out well. When MOO3 came out, it sucked so bad to me. I never finished a game, hell, I don’t think I played more than 3 hrs of it. I know it wasn’t much. I tried to like it, I wanted to, but it just never grabbed me with that one more turn. Kinda like Civilization Beyond Earth. Many things I like about it, but it’s just not fleshed out, AI is worse and more static than ever, among other things. Hoping after it gets all patched up & expansions, it will be at least as good as CIV5 is now.
I still haven’t finished Morrowind, Oblivion, & Skyrim, I haven’t even started it. I got caught up with all the cool ass mods, and realized my pc couldn’t hang with it. I can’t wait to build myself a gaming rig and getting it all modded up and playing it the way I want.

I can’t wait to build myself a gaming rig and getting it all modded up and playing it the way I want.I noticed that Mod-able games tend to do better with gamers than rigid releases that force you to play their way, besides huge games like Skyrim or Far Cry. Unfortunately, many mods stay stuck in the Alpha stage far too long or tend to be poorly put together in Beta and when they do work like they’re supposed to your machine can’t handle it. It’s very tricky to get a mod compatible with your version of the game and what your system runs on.
I never really got into the Sids, the honeycomb maps bother me. I don’t why they stayed away from the regular maps they use in games like the Total War series. I like the Anno and Guild map types a lot more.Don't let them Blame, Shame or Tame you!

I skipped the other two and jumped right into Skyrim. Do the assassin’s quest, it’s the most developed storyline in the game I think.
I’m just now getting into Two Worlds 2. Been a week at it and still at level two! That game has some of the weirdest keyboard key assignments I’ve seen in a game it rivals Skyrim in every way.Don't let them Blame, Shame or Tame you!

No kidding on that. Many of the mods for Morrowind no longer seem to even be available for download now. I have many backed up on my external drive, but I don’t think I have all the mods I wanted. I know I don’t have the latest versions of some of them.
So, once I have my gaming rig, part of me is wondering if I will still be able to enjoy the game the way I have been hoping to all these years. If all goes to plan, I will know before the end of next year. I can’t wait, after being homeless & all, it’s been a long f~~~ing road to get back some kind of life that is worth living.

As soon as they’re a few years old and if there isn’t a community of dedicated modders then the links to searches lead you to bulls~~~ sites. A good way to get downloads is a way I wouldn’t suggest.
Do you an idea of the PC you want?Don't let them Blame, Shame or Tame you!

Once I can, I am building my custom rig from the ground up. Seeing my next step is somewhat complex, on moving out of this old rv, I will have to wait and see what my position will be financially. I would rather just buy one of these if I can make myself wait on it.
That should be able to run just about anything!
