The suspect known as very religious muslim.
The suspect is heavilty prepared, using shotguns and automatic guns, not handguns.

Let me share condition in my country.

There is no legal law for weapon ownership, and the government can f~~~ us in the ass everyday, because the citizen, is weak as hell.

While the criminals using illegal guns, the law abiding citizen, does not have a chance to protect themselves, including me.

There is some exception for gun ownership, only for those who join a shooting club, and can only have legalized hunting rifle with .22 cal.

There is some elite oligarch gang who can own a gun without even a legal document, and there is often, those people shot people death because of disagreement or something, and they can get away with it because they are the elites, and having a good relation with all government institution including police.

So yes, basically, our people is weakened by our own government. Government and those elitist oligarch can f~~~ us in the ass everyday without having consequences, while the people, too weak too fight back, because there is no weapon allowed.

Yes, no weapon allowed, including sharp protection tool like knife.

If you are bring those and unlucky when there is a police random check at the road, you can go to jail for about minimum 1 month, but usually the suspect can bribe the officer with some money, usually between 100.000 – 500.000 (about 7,27 USD – 36,36 USD) so they can get away with it.

I’ll try to sum it up into a simple little package.
A bunch of people wanted to ban alcohol and they did “because think of the women and children”. But men wanted alcohol and the mafia supplied it and made a s~~~ ton of money, in fact it more likely than not created the mafia. Criminals got rich men got their booze and the rest of society bitched about it. In the end they got rid of prohibition because it was a complete f~~~ing disaster that made criminals richer than f~~~.

Someone should make mod for Call of Duty (this will never happen, but just think about it), called “Mall Shooting Rampage”.

There can be two variants to the scenario, but below are the basic starting conditions.

A shooter with a decent weapon and unlimited ammo enters a shopping mall with 1000 people in it.
When the shooter opens fire the occupants will go into response mode. If the occupant is unarmed they will run away. If the occupant is armed they take cover and start shooting.

In the Texas version of the scenario 10% of the people are armed.

In the New York scenario 0.1% (1 police officer) are armed.
