Oh, is that the problem? I do know a few people who worry about “masculinity” they are women mostly, and a few gay men. The straight men I know (I’m one of them) never think about if something is “masculine” or not. The subject never comes up. That said, I cheerfully concede that addictive behavior is not a good thing, which the experiment team has established.

Porn and video game addiction are leading to ‘masculinity crisis’, says Stanford prison experiment psychologisthttp://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/porn-and-video-game-addiction-are-leading-to-masculinity-crisis-says-stanford-prison-experiment-psychologist-10238211.html

It depends on what they mean by masculinity. The word properly means whatever it is that men do, but these days certain groups have tried to redefine “masculine” to mean a chump who pays into “society”. And when they say “society” what they actually mean is “greedy lazy women”.

Obviously video games and porn are contrary to that false definition of “masculinity” because porn and video games don’t serve the desires of women.

He cited the example of a mother he met while conducting the study whose son does not see the problem in playing video games for up to 15 hours a day.

Sounds more like she isn’t doing her job.  What did the father say?

“When I’m in class, I’ll wish I was playing World of Warcraft.

Considering how unfriendly primary and secondary schools are to boys and young men, I’m not suprised

When I’m with a girl, I’ll wish I was watching pornography, because I’ll never get rejected.”

Or aids, or gonorrhea, or syphilis, or herpes, or a baby.

“Young boys who should be virile are now having a problem getting an erection.”

Could you get an erection over the insane bitches that are in school days?

“Masculinity Crisis”  This is the same tripe as “man up” in that it is 180degrees off.

Man up really means don’t take any s~~~.. from women.

Masculinity really means making logical objective appropriate decisions, not ones based on emotion.

To see what’s next you can look up synonyms for those two words. it leads to, “virility,” but that’s already been lifted as well 180 out, if you don’t get it up for a pig, you are not virile and must take the blue pill.  BTW pharma makes billions naming situations as diseases.

Well, more like idiocy in crisis. When people stop listening to your manipulation, it’s going to be harder to control them.

Yes, I agree that what they really mean by crisis is that men arent queuing up to be assessed by gynocentrism. They are still trying to control us by proxy, saying we are not measuring up to standards that exist to boost the status of females. Of course they would speculate porn is harmful, as it takes the power of the almighty pussy away and exposes it for the cheap fraud it really is.

Within that context I am proud to say I am not masculine.

Instead I seek to maintain my own standard of masculinity.

Weirdness said, “Let’s not get into the whole “masculinity” thing. But, yes, the fact is that with women’s pollution of society men are looking for places to breathe. Video games and porn are the perfect places to vent. Men are demotivated, demoralized and hate their own gender………………….Which was bound to happen with liberalism. But what was the reason of women’s oppression? We will learn about the nature of women again and take rightful measures. I am sure of it.”

    cough cough bulls~~~.

A crisis of masculinity? Really? NO S~~~???

After attacking it, devaluing it, taxing it, disrespecting it, and otherwise artificially engineering every possible social, legal, financial and cultural disadvantage against it, you now find that there isn’t as much of it as readily available as there used to be? What a shocker!!!

I submit that there is still plenty of masculinity out there, it is just not being offered up as readily as it once was. And it is not quite the same type of masculinity they would like. An appreciation of porn and video games is plenty masculine (it’s certainly not feminine), but that part of masculinity that involved all that self sacrifice on behalf of other people that was once so useful to the ‘gynocracy’…?

Yeah, there is an awful big shortage of that masculinity. And speaking of myself: I too am short on that kind of masculinity, but I got a whole big abundance of the motorcycling, jet skiing, competitive game playing, power tool using, hard working, carefully investing, tenaciously earning, calculated risk taking, innovating, mechanically inclined, STEM studying, cerebrally exercising masculinity.

I got no shortage of THAT masculinity at all… 🙂

Look, it's not my fault that tornado dropped a house on your sister. Now get back on your broom and get your ass out of here... and take your monkeys with you

Just the word “masculinity” is not even in a straight man’s vocabulary. It’s “soft language”. Perhaps there is a better way of saying it, but it’s almost “gay” just to use it. Other words like that are “gender” (instead of “sex”), “bathroom tissue” instead of “toilet paper”, “Landfill” instead of “garbage dump”…..

    Stereotyping aside….

To a masculine / alpha / straight / man, the topic not even up for discussion.
Discuss “masculinity” and (at least I would) look at someone with wierdness – or even chuckle.

    “What??”

You’ll even notice its not usual for men to even use the word “Men”. In a video I saw on youtube the other day, it was a bunch of guys doing awesome tricks on skateboards, jumping from cliffs, and doing amazing daredevil stunts. The title? “PEOPLE ARE AWESOME”. Even though there is not a single woman doing anything amazing in the video, the video is entitled “PEOPLE are awesome”. They don’t even call it “MEN are awesome” because that’s….. kinda “gay”.

This whole world of “gender”-speak is almost silly and childish. It’s just of no interest to a man. We get suckered into these debates by women / leftists / and “gender idealogues” who just won’t shut the f~~~ up about it. It’s part of the very definition of MGTOW… which basically says “Shut the f~~~ about what a MAN is. It’s none of your goddam business. As a man, I will decide what the f~~~ that is. YOU NEVER WILL. Don’t even try that s~~~. Go away. You’re a nuissance and a waste of air to speak to.”.

It’s the core of MGTOW, you could say.

“Masculinity Crisis” is a joke term intended to sucker men into falling over themselves to “prove” they are men. Women do this all the time.

    • “Men are afraid of commitment”
    • “A real man would…..”
    • “Where are all the men?”
    • “Masculinity is in Crisis”

These words are lazy. They think they can just say them, and men are supposed to come running to somehow PROVE we are “manly”.

Masculinity is in Crisis? F~~~ no it’s not. MEN JUST DONT WANT YOU – AND THEY DONT WANT TO COMMIT TO … YOU. ACCEPT IT. Men commit fearlessly and without fail to all kinds of more important s~~~ than women and their f~~~ing weddings. Breaking the sound barrier. Splitting the atom. Building the great wall of China. The internet. Beating the highest core on asteroids. Landing actual probes on asteroids(!). Crossing the word’s most tempestuous oceans to find out the shape of the world. Business ventures. Car loans. Mortgages. And then a f~~~ing woman comes along and says “Men are afraid of commitment” and “masculinity is in crisis??”

    Get lost.

It’s just to keep you around, attached to her stupid dialogue / feminist agenda and talking about s~~~ that just doesn’t matter a damn. Especially to HIM.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

Women shaming men is as old as humanity .Its called female shaming language .That is a language inside of most languages. I remember reading that women in the UK a few hundred years ago some women protested to the king against Tea houses saying that tea was making their husbands feminine and Frenchafied .Whenever women don’t get there way they use shaming language.Beware

frankly my dear i don't give a damn

Another article on that site: Is Masculinity in Crisis?. Includes information about Be A Man (BAM) festival which will include “important topics”, such as:

Among many other things, BAM will feature discussions about violence against women, pornography, and the impact of patriarchy.

You can’t even make this s~~~ up.

Masculinity crisis: Because men are playing video games and watching porn instead of subsidizing bastard baby makers (single mothers) and attention starved land whales.

And thus they see the emerging pattern of men not being interested in relationships and thus declare it as unmanly.. and honestly the moronic masses will lap it up and I’ll sit back and laugh. And laugh. Aint noone going to be telling me whats unmanly.

We as men have been through it all. All the shaming over the millenia, where our identity was defined externally. F~~~ing women first, white ribbons, open the door for some bitch though she is perfectly able to open the f~~~ing thing for herself. All those little games where we protect them, indulge them, treat them like children, while they stamp their feet and insist they are capable, independent, and we are f~~~ing scum for trying to control them.

I say now, PLEASE try to shame me for not being in a relationship with some gash. You see, the shaming is so successful, and gash is so valuable, that 70% of young men in the US are not getting married.
