Can’t stress this enough – marriage is horrible. I’m stuck at age 50 with a woman I can’t stand to be around most of the time – only reason I stay is the two little buggers who I adore. I have to listen to my wife bitch about how the kids are driving her nuts (she’s a teacher, so she’s home for the summer), even though she never hears me complain about having the kids (she makes it out to be a death march). Our sex life is non-existent, she’s a lazy ass who’d sleep all day if she could.

Don’t get married, don’t get married, don’t get married – this to infinity. How I’d love to be a single guy just doing what I want, when I want. No nagging woman around complaining about stupid crap.

You’re welcome – this is my place to vent.

Here’s an example of married life – get home from work and wife is in a bitchy mood. She’s a teacher and has some stuff that she needs to get done but can’t due to the kids (I went home early to help her out, but of course she claims that she needs a lot more time). Long story short, she gets dinner ready and has a snack out to eat. I take one, and she starts bitching that I’m not eating it correctly (yes, you read that right). This is a couple weeks after she did some damage to her car – I didn’t raise hell about it, just said that I’ll get it fixed (have a client that can fix it). She bitches about how I eat a snack, while I don’t bitch about the repairs that need to be done to the car.

This is marriage – I’m miserable and only stay due to the kids.
