Marriage and divorce in Russia: Part 1 – statistics

Hello, guys!
First of all, I would like to once again appreciate all of you for your great work – MGTOW really reaching all countries around the World!
Due to lack of proper dialogue between Russian and English speaking world, which had been taking place throughout all 20th century, and happening even now (Iron Curtain, sanctions, warmongers’ hysteria, other political bulls~~~) many aspects of life in Russia are differ from their counterparts in other countries. One of the most interesting things for me is Manosphere in Russia. Also I want to thank all those guys from Russian Manosphere (Michael N, Alexander Leo, Dmitry Prozorovsky, and many others) whose materials and work helped me to find this Red Pill knowledge, which I’m presenting to you in here.
I’m not so fascinated about some of the facts, especially discussing largest manosphere site interception by ROC and very likely by Russian secret services and other things like that. But I’m sured, that spreading of it would be helpful, at least to avoid that sh~~storm, which is happening in Russia. I really want to spread this compressed concentrated bits of Red Pill from Russia experience in hope that it would be used for your advantage, guys. This is my homage to all MGTOWs.
First one is marriage and divorce in Russia.
Well, to be honest, Russia has one of the highest divorce rates in the world. According to some data from 2000s and 2010s, Russia had divorce rate from 50% to 80%.

“There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics” – totally agree with that, any statistics might be biased.
Here are several reasons why it is so in application to marriage and divorce date, which comes to my mind:
– Significant numbers of spouses are not living with each other for various reasons, so there are a lot of de facto failed marriages
– Fictive marriages, which were formed to gain some financial or other benefits
– Forced marriages, signed as a result of blackmail (threat of calling rape accusation, children kidnapping, pressure from members of so called “family”, and so forth).

As you can see, even at current year divorce rate wasn’t significantly reduced, average rate is still more than 85%. This statistic data cannot be better than real state of affairs due to its biased nature. So, obviously reality is worse than that.
It’s not surprisingly at all that info suggested as ‘real’ by MSM are totally screwed. Even sources not connected to MSM monsters directly, which are posted here contains a lot of retranslated bias.

OK, first answer contains 5 reasons, explaining that trend. Let’s have a look at them.
1) Highly secular society means less pressure from religion to remain married when relationships doesn’t work.
Partly true, although it is not applicable to all regions of Russia and examples will be shown in part 2.
2) Highly educated and working women who can be independent if necessary, so no real barriers to get divorce and start living separately.
About independency – pure horses~~t, details about Russia situation in part 2. Terrence Popp have shown in one of his latest videos interesting data about latest trend in US, that even 40+ years old feminists with higher education and PhD are tended to “make a baby for themselves”. Baby rabies are applicable to all of women, AWALT, Russians are no exception. So education and work is not the root cause.
3) The birth rate is quite low (although it is getting better). Less children means more single women without financial dependency to breadwinner.
It’s consequence, not a root cause.
4) State social services like nurseries, schools, health care are relatively quite efficient and accessible, free of charge if necessary, so it is quite financially possible to take care of children as a single mom.
It’s not a goal. Alimony and so called “maternal capital” are a goals for many of them, but not an easy access to schools and other bull~~~t like that.
5) Alcoholism is widespread among male population and is the cause of many divorces
Although it is a consequence of genocide against Russian men, it’s not a root cause for divorce. Even more than that – many Russian so called “families” are constituted by alcoholics. Also female alcoholics are represented in very close numbers to male alcoholics.
In order to clear that bias and to show some parts of real Russian picture I’ll write second part with more detailed analysis of this situation, including historical background of this trend.

I have to laugh at American men that think the solution for the nightmarish Western women that feminism has created is too look overseas for Russian and Asian women.

They may be a more pleasant and attractive package on the surface, more polite and feminine, less obese, but underneath the hood, the same Operating System is still running. And rest assured that Operating System is still running Briffault’s and Hypergamy modules.

Just lying in wait, for them to get their citizenship and cash and prizes in a divorce, once they “go native”. The power that Divorce Courts given women is seductive, and the lure of cash and prizes is hard to resist.

It turns out you’re right. Russia was the first country to legislate Feminism.
The statistics, no matter how skewed, show that the greater the opportunity to abuse men, the greater the abuse.
The more rope you give women, the more they hang themselves. In the short term they win every battle with men, but long term, they’re losing the war by having no men.

It’s the opposite in many South East Asian countries and some African and South American countries where traditional laws and customs “Oppress” women.
The only thing that’s being oppressed is their viciously exploitative nature.
These “Oppressed” countries have the highest success rates in traditional marriages.
When women know there’s a clear line they can’t cross, they tend to make the best of the situation they’re in. Women seem to be much happier in these places, despite the Feminist rhetoric. Western statistics also show that the more liberated women have become over the last five decades, the more unhappier they’ve become.

“Successful” marriages doesn’t mean for a moment that behind closed doors men aren’t being emotionally bullied to the grave. It just means marriages last longer.

Thank you for your comment, it’s very helpful and interesting! Apparently, same thing is happening in “more patriarchial” regions of Russia, for example in Chechnya or Tatarstan. I’ll show some interesting data about that in second part.

Thank you. I really was used to think, that original version just gone into the abyss of internet, when I tried to post it. I still don’t quite understand what exactly happened to it (pending, revison, links checking, maybe something else?). I’ll write second part, but it reqiures quite some time (~ week, week and a half). I hope, you would enjoy it)

Absolutely! Same thing all aroung the world. As far as I know, in Russian Manosphere this chameleon mode is represented by terms of demo version (демо версия) and режим заманухи, рекламной акции in Russian. I wonder, if there is some kind of special term for it in English speaking countires?
Also, I remebering those mind-boggling stories about some gold-diggers, that waited for years and decades to hunt donw their prey! And most of them connected to Eastern Slavic gold diggers. Even Donald Trump was divorced with Czech one! I think this gold-digging was reinforced by many factors, and in Russia they’re developed in one of the most extreme ways. So, we literally can see, what women really are, but in Eastern Slavic women, especcially in Russian ones gold-digging is way to hypertrophed and obvious.
