Marriage and Divorce: A Rigged Game for Men, But Also Ultimately Bad for Women and Children
I ran across this article and thought it would be good for some of our younger members and lurkers to read. It’s odd that I’ve been spared this fate in spite of my two divorces. Ex number 1 could have been so much worse. In my lifetime every time I brought this subject up in mixed company I was brought up short by a woman who was facing the same issues as the men…i.e. the ex-husband had custody and she was on the hook for child support and had trouble with visitation. I recently met a guy who has custody of his son and is collecting child support. So, not all guys get screwed, but I think the vast majority of cases end in the woman’s favor. Therefore, no marriage, no kids, no problems with a lifetime of servitude to an un-deserving bitch. Going your own way means making your own choices in life. Falling in love is a temptation to be sure. But reinforcing the dogma surrounding the family court structure and the inherent conditioning we men are subjected to is an important lesson for young men to learn. If you avoid the mine field of marriage and accept how devious and deceitful women are, then you stand a better chance of not having your future blown to hell."Don't follow in my footsteps...I stepped in something."

I avoided it, and let me tell you compared to friends that have fallen all around me, from suicides due to marital problems to divorce rapes and custody battles, I couldn’t be happier about having sidestepped it, not one bit.
There is absolutely no reason to get married, unless the idea of handing over your life to a woman and the State sounds like a good one, and guess what, it isn’t.

Ironically, guys treat marriage like they’re at the casino. They’ve been putting $20 in the slot machine hoping for a payoff but the machine keeps taking their money. But instead of cutting losses and walking away, they continue feeding $20’s in, “If I can juuuuust hit it one time”. Whatever winnings they get are menial, and less than what the cost of their bet was. Playing a system that was rigged against them from the start. Designed to take their money. Because the house isn’t in the business of losing money. If it was, the casino would close.
You have to look at it statistically and treat it like an Investment in a Business.
You have to ask yourself: would you be willing to risk half of everything you own plus, having to make payments for the rest of your life, to a business partner who contributed zero money in the business, was caught cheating (skimming money), and decided to unilaterally dissolve the business partnership and take half of everything you have and demand and receive payments for the rest of your life?
And on top of that: knowing that there is a 50% chance that your new business partner will do this to you? Most guys who get married think they found the one. The unicorn, who stands out from all others, only to be blindsided with divorce papers right out of the blue as soon as the wifey is able to qualify for lifetime alimony.
It’s only at that point: the guy knows he’s been had. But he still thinks that he got a dud for a wife, and that the next one will be better. Only it isn’t: instead it is the same old s~~~.
After divorce #2 he realizes that he can never dream of retiring and unless he runs away to a 3rd world country with no extradition treaty where he can get residency, he is doomed to slavery until the day he dies: having to forever pay the con artist that he got married to and taken to the cleaners.
