Anyone here who read his books or saw the movie “Salo, or 120 days of Sodom”? I bought his “The Complete Marquis de Sade” collection last week, after losing my copy of abovementioned movie, a week ago. He mostly wrote about libertinians, sexual deviancy, the most basic lust in humans and the destruction of a virgin’s virtue. While I find his works rather tame compared to nowaday’s pornography, he still makes me think about what he tried to tell us: any age, any perversion, any lust, it was acted upon with a profound distaste of the established order and the god-fearing mentality of France in the 17th and 18th century.

I consider myself some sort of an atheist/satanist hybrid (there is no god, yet I am my own god and devil) kind of guy and revel in that sort of writing, even though it is hilarious at several points (“god is dead! Your virtue is useless! sex Sex SEX!!!! I CUM IN YOUUU!”)

He describes sexual encounters between filthy old men and young virgin girls, yet old hags and young virgin boys are also mentioned, and most of the focus is concentrated upon the “Altar of Sodom”, aka the asshole, but the important people in the stories sometimes like deflowering c~~~s as well.

The first story in the book is all about Justine, a young girl whose parents died, split with her older sister and undergoes cruelty after cruelty, while remaining her virtue, even though she is deflowered every time she’s captured.

The second story is about her older sister Juliette, who becomes a perfect whore.

The third story contains musings in the bedroom, between brother and sister, and how many people they f~~~ed and in which ways.

The fourth story was made into a movie, Salo: or 120 days of Sodom, which is kinda nasty but interesting in some sort of way as it shows humanity in its most basic, sexually-driven form.

All in all, that guy was pretty perverse and wrote most of his books in prisons and I wish he had the time to get more of them published!

That’s some sick s~~~ you like reading, not really feeling that.

It’s pretty light compared to what you can read/see on the internet nowadays.

I remember my mom stealing the book from my bedroom years ago, when I was about 17 or 18, and when I asked her about it she told me it probably got lost somewhere. As if she wanted to either prevent me from reading filthy stuff or that she was disgusted with it personally and hated that I enjoyed reading it. Same goes for the film “Cradle of Fear”, which was a ridiculous horror movie written by Dani Filth of the British extreme metalband Cradle of Filth, and she didn’t care about it until a woman got hurt, then she immediately decided to take it out of the dvd player and threw it away… sigh.

Interesting. Roger that, I just found that odd, I don’t hear that stuff everyday, guess I’m a oddball myself. It’s true theres way worse horror to see on the Internet. I could see your parents not wanting you to see it. But whatever, it’s cool dude. We are what we are and I’m a Jesus Freak, polar opposites, the ultimate battle, just kidding, forgive me. I can be a little dramatic sometimes.

It’s okay brother, different flavors make the world go around 🙂

Salo was the most confronting movie I’ve ever seen. Governments banned it – not I believe for the torture and graphic sex scenes but for its underlying message about the ruling class – “Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely”. The ruling powers, government officials and rich financial market puppeteers hated the way the movie shone a spotlight on the way financial, societal and legal power corrupts the minds, morality and human decency of those who wield it. The working and middle-classes were exposed to the depraved mental mechanics of their rulers and witnessed where power and control, when taken to the extreme, leads to.

The ruling classes will deny the above, but just consider how many recent politicians, bankers, stars, and government officials have been revealed to be evil, sexually depraved control-freaks who think they can rape, torture, kill and destroy with immunity. All the more reason to limit the reach of the 1% at every chance possible.

Betcha even the Marquis de Sade would flinch watching “Two Girls One Cup”. 🙂

It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion, it is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning; it is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.
