It’s when she demands I buy her free drinks or free dinners or support her and her carousel spawn and tries to shame and blame when I refuse that I have a problem. It’s not disrespect when I refuse to buy a free drink (or dinner or a date or *ugh* matrimony) for a worn out carousel veteran. I’m simply and sensibly refusing to pay full price for a used up old hoopty, especially when I can get something new fresh off the lot for free.

Yes! This is exactly my thoughts on the idea of slut-shaming.
