Went to see this movie last weekend. Rogue one was packed in all four theatres. About twenty people in theatre with me.

Hard to believe that Hollywood would make a movie about a man, from a man’s point of view.

A man, two rows back wept through most of the movie. He wept as quietly as he could while the booming sounds of rogue one raged next door.

Like me, he sat alone. Whatever his tragedy in life was, it was fresh and an open wound.

The pace of the movie is at haze speed. At the speed of the man on screen who is living it.

The movie shows a man standing on the edge of a cliff holding onto his guilt. Depression for a man is real and in our mind it is deserved. No happy pill can fix it.

The haze of life that those of us have walked through. No happy ending. No happily ever after.

Maybe, just maybe as women watch this movie, maybe some will get a glimpse for just one moment into a man’s world.

For me personally, I related for once to the main character.

I wish this writer/director would make a movie about the red pill of a man divorced and children taken etc.

All we get is ex-feminist documentary drama films.

Oh well. I liked this movie and recommend it.

    Peace brothers

Thanks for the review, Darksith. I hadn’t planned on seeing this movie because the title alone had chick flick written all over it. But since you said it’s a worthwhile view, then I’ll watch it when it comes to video.
