“Man up” is usually said by women who want you to be a beta wimp that does everything for women. It has nothing to do with becoming more masculine. Hell, I’ve decided to “man down”.

It seems to me that the expression to “man up” means to don the cape of the domesticated male, the plow yoke.

It used to mean getting married but now since women get more out of being a single mother with you under the yoke if you want to see your children, the lash that motivates the mule seemingly tolerable because he get’s to know his offspring.

Should he throw off the yoke, good by go his most precious love for his children.

Manning up, donning the yoke, married or not, make you an ass truly and figuratively.

And having children is like handing a loaded gun to a woman who lives in a culture that celebrates hating men.

It reminds me of that movie with Denzel Washington. He has the dying kid and his wife shames him by saying “DO SOMETHING!!!” to save HER child. and he commits like 100 felonies and in the court room scene at the the end and she is all smiles.

Pre red pill I never knew how powerful women shaming men was/ could be. It is the ultimate female weapon.
