I was wandering around Craigslist when I saw two interesting posts in their jobs section. One post is paying people to recruit more players for a “man cave” and the other was asking for waitresses to serve drinks at the man cave. If your curious, the recruiters are paid up to six times what the waitresses are!

This made me stop and notice: it’s a grassroots gentleman’s club in the old style painted as a “man cave”! Think about it. Men meeting up to play games and drink around other men with the only women around as eye candy that serves drinks. Doesn’t it sound like something from an old movie or perhaps bring to mind the speakeasy your grandpa went to when he was your age? All of them started the same way: a few guys got together for drinks and games, everyone pooled a little money to cover the cost and suddenly the guy running the joint noticed there was some cash left over so he did it all again the next week.

The best part is that any guy with some spare space can do it.

Have a basement? Man cave. Have a nice, big garage. Man cave. Have a big house and nobody there but you and the dog? Ultra man cave! If you’re getting serious about it, you can even rent some space and get a liquor license to keep things nice and legal. Charge a small door fee pooled from everyone inside and from there free drinks and games until you drop! It’s the social guy’s way of earning spare cash. The best part is that the poor guy who still has to be around a gal can say he’s going to “Joey’s Man Cave” and it sounds harmless! It’s not a “gentleman’s club”, it’s a “man cave” so she can’t complain as much.

It feels good to know the old traditions are still alive, they just changed the names to help avoid old stigmas.

    Beauty fades, dumb is forever.

It is a good idea on the face of it, a good idea for a man so inclined. It wouldn’t work for me, because I don’t want a bunch of strangers running around my house.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

A real Man Cave is just that! A “MAN” cave, no such thing as a “MEN’S Cave”.
A man cave (IMHO) is where a man does his manly thing! I’ve got my cave (garage/shop) where I weld, fabricate, restorations, and maintain my vehicles and other stuff, I don’t like people watching me work and I kick them out within minutes!
My shared time with other men is done in the great outdoors, like skiing, biking, or anything exciting! Don’t get me wrong, I spend hours with my friends working on projects together, it’s the lone douche bag that doesn’t help, just stands there and watches, that drives me f~~~in nuts! I work very well with others that are knowledgeable and motivated. A lard ass, or a drunk has no place within miles of my domain!
I’m teaching an 8 year old kid that’s motivated, intelligent, and “nice to be around”, (that’s more than I can say for most adults!!!).

A man cave should not even be around. EVERYTHING should be a mans. If there is to be a cave …. it should encompass everything he owns. His entire house, car, boat and plane.

No sorry … man or mans cave can fk off …. with a smile ?
