Man, am I glad to have found you brothers

Greetings everyone,

Allow me to say how happy it makes me to have found MGTOW. For many years now I have always felt a troubling realization that society in general was giving men an increasingly short stick, but never really thought that others felt the same way.

Until now men who opted out were always seen as complainers or sad losers who couldn’t “man up” but it has become clear to me that as Dr. Helen Smith so eloquently stated that men are not shirking responsibilities by failing to marry but are reacting in a reasonable, healthy way to a system increasingly stacked against them.

I am a successful, good looking guy and have no problems attracting women but I find that the game has become so ridiculous that it simply isn’t worth my time anymore.
My “Aha” moment came recently when I went to a recently married friend’s social gathering. He married a Brazilian girl and all her Brazilian friends were there. It struck me like a ton of bricks that these women were beautiful, friendly, open, engaging, in shape, better educated than the typical American boor and could actually discuss a wide range of topics with competence. It was like a refreshing breeze after being locked up in a dungeon.

In contrast, the smaller group of American girls were sitting in a corner, aloof and with their typical sour expressions on their faces, waiting for a man to approach them. If you did approach, you’d undoubtedly have to prove your non rapist status, income level and demonstrate your worth and gratitude for being allowed an audience.
We had so much fun with these delightful ladies that we completely forgot all about the frumpy gloom sisters in the corner.

I’ve had it with open anti-male bashing masquerading as “gender equality” and with gender double standards. I’m embarrassed of a system that shrinks in fear every time some emotionally Freudian wreck of a feminist loudly demands – and gets- any increasingly ridiculous demand. It feels good to know I’m not crazy for noticing this.

There is a whole movement of men who are no longer willing to be financial court room pinatas, sperm donors with no reproductive rights but still useful drones anytime the very infrastructure needs to be maintained or defended on which the stability for democracy, feminism, animal rights and other such luxuries depends. Without men there would be no such social goodies and luxuries.

Good to be on board, gentlemen. Expect to hear more of me as I look forward to reading your thoughts.

Oh me too, me too.  And then to think that when you use _logic_ and _rationality_ to put those demands into context, all you _ever_ get back is more emotion and shaming. And society lets that pass. Hell, its eating it up. I don’t know if I could be any more embarrassed of the current state of affairs.

Welcome! I too felt that I was on of a few that saw the world in this way. Your explanation about the social gathering has been the cornerstone of my life for 11 years. I lived in Russian speaking countries and found life there much better. The only sad part was coming back to the USA and look at the sour women here.
