75% of suicides are men. You think there would be more resources availible for men. You would be wrong. There vast resources availible for women. Over 80% of the homeless are men. Got shelters? F~~~ no.
Here are some links to suicide prevention for men. Fairly slim pickings. Please add more if you find them.

It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion, it is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning; it is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.
Keymaster,
We need to pin a list of suicide prevention resources for men.

F~~~ the pills get the book “Awaken the Giant Within” by Tony Robbins. The stuff works if you work at it. Better yet you might want to go to unleash the power within seminar Tony Robbins is obviously the speaker. I personally never went to it however he has helped a lot of people. If you can go I suggest you go they have a guarantee. The seminar is under $1000.

I hope keymaster doesn’t treat as spam. This can help men.
there’s a few videos on youtube where Tony Robbins helps people with depression. In less than an hour he helps these people cure their depression. I’ll post them when I find the videos.

For myself, I went through a serious bout of depression once. Getting my vitamins, etc, was a key factor in hauling me out of it. The other was focusing on goals and getting busy on them, putting my consciousness outside my own self and toward something bigger than little me.
The vitamins, etc, that worked for me are:
* All the regular vitamins, A through K (via a one a day pill or two)
* Extra vitamin B-complex — your nervous system needs it to run (another pill)
* A long list of minerals (included in my one a day pill)
* Omega-3 essential fatty acids (another pill). After a week or two, my “depression” symptoms went away. To his day, I take two one a day’s, a B-complex, and two omega-3 pills daily after filling up with breakfast.

I don’t like Tony Robbins for the fact that he’s just the greatest salesperson in the world, not really a life coach. Yeah, sure, he does all the RA-RA-RA stuff, but you have to “level-up” by paying increasingly stupid amounts of money, and there’s always the catch that you’re hooked into his system.
I have heard from others that his seminars are just giant brain-washing camps, where he talks fast and loud, with shockingly loud music, interspersed with subtle manipulation tactics. It’s very clever, and if you read up on hypnotism, recognised brainwashing techniques, and so forth, his stuff is indistinguishable.
Example: Hypnotism: The quickest way to hypnotise someone is to have them focus really hard on something, while being physically engaged, so that total brain function is used. Often this is as benign as pushing high-fiving hands against the hypnotist, while concentrating hard. The hypnotist then suddenly and without warning pulls their hands away, shocking the person, at which point their brain shuts down normal functioning for around 0.5 to 1 second. At that moment, a suggestion is planted by the hypnotist, and VOILA! You have implanted a suggestion that they would not normally accept.
Tony Robbins: Concentrate on your goals, concentrate really hard (concentration), feel it in your body (body engagement), see that dream, make it real in your head, concentrate! Then BAM! Music at 120 decibels (shock), quieting off quickly, at which point Robbins says something almost inaudible into the mic (suggestion implanted).
The weekend camps go further, by sleep deprivation and adrenal exhaustion, keeping everyone raving until midnight, and starting again early in the morning.
There are many more techniques, but these are the ones I am familiar with.
We must think more of ourselves. We must put ourselves first because if we don’t we will be used as fodder.

@chir wouldn’t suicide be considered going your own way though? What if a man has alimony payments, lost his job, is being threatened with prison time for not being able to pay child support, AND his dog died all in the same day? I mean, at that point what is THE point? I find that the older I get the more romanticized the idea of death becomes. I’m not advocating suicide and how it’s the only way out, I’m just saying that maybe for some it is A way out. I for one do not wish to be a work horse the rest of my days, and sometimes for other men, in those rare but still there days. It just seems reasonable.
Edit: I just want to clarify that did not happen to me, I was just throwing a scenario out there… The point I wanted to make is I can empathize/sympathize with them.
2nd Edit: Sorry guys, I’m just responding as I go along as this one hits home for me. But I want to say to (however I say that name.) to the Brother who said “Oh gee golly, Tony Robbins seminar AND IT’S ONLY UNDER A $1000 DOLLARS!” I’m paraphrasing, but that is preposterous, don’t you have any advice for a POOR MGTOW brother? If I had a thousand bucks to blow I wouldn’t be so f~~~ing depressed some days. lol I suppose the book would be worth checking out on a down day I just hate the thought of lining some ones pockets with no intention of helping people and only wanting to make a quick buck, I’m just thinking to myself. If he really wants to help people then why does he need to charge $1000 dollars a head just to hear him flap his lips? Is he really THAT good?
@roydal Vitmins you say? I haven’t tried that approach yet, it sounds like something worth checking into.
@quietlyquietly Wouldn’t being hypnotized out of depression be a good thing though? I mean if it works it works right? Or is it like a temporary thing that goes away once you go home?

Well you have to know why the depression is caused, and ideally, treat that. Anything else would be like a band-aid, and will eventually either wear off, or cause more problems.
For example, depression can be caused by low testosterone. If you hypnotize someone, they still have low testosterone, and you’re not treating the cause. Other physical causes will work the same way.
Alternatively, a guy loses his kids in divorce, gets depressed, this is a mental/emotional problem. Solution is giving the guy his kids back. Hypnotism isn’t going to really solve it, although it may well mask the problem, and enable him to continue going to work etc.
I know hypnotism works, I’ve done it myself, to a friend.
My problem was with Tony Robbins. I think he’s a massive con. I once went to Fiji for a vacation, and coincidentally stayed near Tony’s Fiji retreat. It cost $5000 per week per person, and could accommodate around 75-100 people at a time. I talked to the locals and was told that they were paid $1 a day for the privilege of working there.
There are cheaper ways to haul yourself out of depression, and they don’t involve falling for the slick sales pitch, NLP, Ericksonian hypnotism, and so forth.
1. Get your diet right.
2. Take exercise.
3. Get some goals and start following them.
4. Meet up with like-minded people.That’s 90% of it.

That’s a good idea, thanks, and for the time being we have made this sticky so anyone can post add misc items they find ahy. If the collection is expansive enough we can do something more with it. Let’s think on this.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.IMHO the best way to prevent Depression or suicidal thoughts is
first of all: Training or doing sports, get fit and healthy u can always rely on that.
Second: Focus on the good sides in life and treat yourself Kind and well, be Aware that this life is just one of many phases in our spritual existence and we have to learn and make the best of it. That’s our Mission. And even if everything feels senseless there is still something to watch, spectate, observe, learn and at least laugh about.
Third: Read and watch lots of selfimprovement/selfmotivation lecture and Clips, there are so many good out there and u can learn a Little bit of nearly every Content. And These books and Clips will Show you, that you are not alone with your thoughts, there are thousands and millions who feel the same.“10 Ways to help men stop killing themselves”
I thought this was a worthwhile read. One quote seems to strike a chord.
“Masculine principles like strength and the urge to protect and provide, and feminine principles like beauty and the desire to care for and nurture, are not socially constructed but evolved and hardwired. As such, telling men to stop putting on a strong, masculine persona is as likely to work as telling women to stop putting on make up.
A more effective approach, argues Seager, is to help men adapt and evolve in a way that broadens the definition of masculinity, so that facing emotional pain, for example, is seen as a sign of masculine strength.
Whatever your gender politics, helping to evolve masculinity in a way that honours and celebrates men and boys is an important part of the fight against male suicide.”
Too often boys are told to shut up, don’t show emotion, and be a man. Most often by their mothers.
There should be no blaming boys if they show signs of depression. Especially in this gynocentric society where they are taught to hate themselves by feminist teachers.

Men who are depressed need help fast, I have been in situations like that. It’s not nice and you can do things that you would not think of otherwise. One moment of insanity can f~~~ up your life – or end it.
It would be great if there was some way we could reach out to guys like that.
We must think more of ourselves. We must put ourselves first because if we don’t we will be used as fodder.
It’s time for US and the rest can wait until we’re ready …. if at all.
Yes, this is the message i’ve been trying to get instilled into the minds of my fellow MGTOW.
Love yourself
Care for … YOU
Keep true to YOURSELF
Your validation and purpose, should be coming from within. It’s important to remember this, especially if you have depression, or anxiety based disorders, or possibly a personality disorder, or ANY form of mental struggle really … remember it is YOU who needs to value YOU, forget the external world and all its poisonous bulls~~~, what matters is yourself.
I see this thread hasn’t been updated for a long time. Thought i would just drop some stats by.

I don’t think enough is said about dealing with the immediate situations. All too often men in dire need of help find themselves alone and that is the worst place to be when your hurting. It’s far too easy to give in and give up. It’s been mentioned here in another post “is it not what MGTOW is about” going their own way and ending it. If you even consider that thought you are wrong. Unfortunately the only real help is professional and when it comes to men those resources are limited…We are in trouble and if we fail to stop this slide into the dark side we are doomed.Time to take the bull by the horns and locate the weaker ones and pull them up with us to get thru this together.

This is exactly what I need. Thank you.
I once seen an ad that read: “One out of five people who commit suicide are women. That is FAR too many women killing themselves!” Outside a few in MGTOW, no one cares about men and never will. We must pull ourselves up or die. Our edge is than many of us are capable of fighting our way through the sewage, women cannot.
