Hypergamy is not something that MGTOW’s bother with, since we never get married in the first place… If you want a true answer to this question, I think you need blue-pill-forums.com to answer that.

I think MGTOW are probably never going to need hypergamy, because most will never settle for some mediocre skank. Instead we all want a magical unicorn which is slightly hypocritical since it demonstrates having very high standards, just like all entitled and privileged women have these days (the c~~~s we hate). But if the unicorn is just a nice women, with true great personality, honesty, loyalty, then my argument is invalid, because we’re normal for requiring such character traits in a woman.

I think male hypergamy is not related to an upgrade in marrying a female with higher wealth or status, but more often a female with bigger t~~~, tighter pussy and perhaps more kinky. Personality is also important however and a valid “upgrade” reason. But once you need a harpoon or forklift to get her off the couch any upgrade is a valid one..

If you’re talking financial reasons, probably not too much of that because it’s too hard to make the math work with the alimony laws and such. There have started to be more stories of high SMV men who don’t want to marry a wife who brings nothing to the table but a voracious appetite, but the already-married ones stand to gain little.
Of course there are men who will upgrade for sexual attraction reasons, or just for someone who doesn’t make him want to jump off a bridge. No news there.
The trend right now seems to be more toward upgrading to SINGLE.

Hypergamy is the action of marrying a person of a superior caste or class.

Men tend to be polygamous by nature, spreading their seed, looking for youth and beauty. Sure we will swap the old hag for a new improved younger model that’s tight and perky, but generally we “settle” for one that makes our lives better, then there is the whole gynocentric punitive divorce thing that stops guys from pursuing better options.

Hypergamy is all about seeking the best partner higher up on the socio-economic scale, and men don’t have an interest in that, we seek young attractive tight hotties regardless of their social, economic level.

Women on the other hand, scale the social ladder by securing dominant, powerful, respected men that can provide resources, swapping all the way until they hit the apex. They need a man that is out of their league, in order to dampen that hypergamous urge, just as we need a tight young hottie to satisfy our urges.
