    Have you read a book from about the past 10 years and stumbled across a character in a story like a doctor and the writer labels them “she” and you wonder what the sex had to do with anything? As in, “Joey went to the doctor and she told him to get some rest.” Well, the writer of a book I recently read explains all of that for you in his own f~~~ed-up words:

    * “This is the first instance where I could pick a masculine (he) or feminine (she) pronoun, use a plural pronoun (they), or the ever-awkward composite (he/she). In general, I use she when the person is a positive example. This is my small effort to counteract the short-changing of women in literature for thousands of years.”

    The name of the book is “Enchantment” by Guy Kawasaki. And not surprisingly, the book is about manipulating people.

    Guy Kawasaki is a mangina and almost certainly a White Knight. “I shall Right the Injustice of a Thousand Years by making my pointless Character a SHE!”

    My white knight buddy told me the other day “I go on social media and look for successful women scientists so that I can follow and support them being awesome!” Well not only do I hate the term “awesome” but I told him “You know, if they’re successful, powerful females, they don’t need YOUR support.”

    That really crushed him. Apparently he wants to be the kind of guy who “supports women”… which is to say he’s a pussy begging white knight carrying around a pedestal just trying to find a female to put up on it so that he can rescue her from his his lustful male gaze and dirty patriarchal c~~~. lol!

    I’m glad when these kind of guys out themselves… it makes it easier for us to ignore them and not take anything they say seriously.

    I couldn’t have said it better myself.  I would just add that I just hope that when wifey decides that after Guy lays his last golden goose she realizes that she really doesn’t “feel” the same way about ol’Guy anymore since his writing career has hit the skids and instead decides that it would be best to just to go down to the courthouse and ca$h-out…I hope that I’m in the audience.

    The Judge will say, “Mr. Kawaski, I’ve read your book and I agree with you that women have suffered grave injustice for thousands of years and so I’m sure you’ll agree with me that we have to right these wrongs!  So, my judgement is that 80 percent of all of your earnings, including all future royalties, go to your wife and that instead of the usual weekend visitations, you get to see your children once a month, at her house, with supervision and at her convenience.  I also decree that your wife, who actually did nothing whatsoever as you earned your millions writing, lecturing, and working a corporate job, help me to run this stack of your unsold books right up your ass.  Dismissed.”

    In the Norwegian curriculum firefighters and police are always She, while homemakers and day care workers are always He. This is done from a very young age. I’ve seen the school books of the 6-7 year olds. They’re full of images where these things are portrayed. You will not find a male firefighter in those illustrations, at least not unless there are two active female firefighters right next to him, holding the hose and s~~~ while he stands there like an imbecile.

    Also, at UNI this was prevalent in all leadership and psychology classes and the material. Every time there was an example of leadership, the leader was a she. Strong person = She, insecure, paranoid or neurotic person = He.

    At one exam I couldn’t help myself and made a point of it. I made a practical example of a leader to illustrate the concept of a theory and wrote SHE with bold capital letters and underlined it. I got an A on the exam, so I guess the examiner was a guy who could relate and probably laughed when he read it.

    the short-changing of women in literature for thousands of years.

    Women short-changed themselves. Just look at this ridiculous publication by Yahoo/Match.com entitled “for guys. A guide to girl talk”.

    http://www.match.com/magazine/article/4670/For-Guys-A-Guide-To-Girl-Talk/

    Written by a woman, she is projecting women’s general inability to communicate directly (and effectively) by expecting MEN (the creators of all great literature and languages) to LOWER THEMSELVES to the female level. This is women in modern day literature , gentlemen. That article should be TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE for print.

    “For guys. A guide to girl talk”. That’s the most f~~~ed up s~~~ from the sex that pretends to be “better communicators”. Admits women are complete s~~~ at effective and efficient communication , while feeling some need to publicly translate what she SAYS to what she MEANS using multiple sentences and paragraphs on even the most basic of messages. Like what “no”, “yes” and “maybe” means. F~~~ off and go back to grade school. This message is addressed to men on behalf of women everywhere in the aggregate.

    I don’t even know how Guy Kawasaki can get out of bed in the morning in the face of that kind of literary s~~~ out there. Short-changed? That dumb bitch was over paid. Even when trying to argue a point, a woman will say “whatever” and convince herself she won.

    Women short-changed themselves in literature just like they short-changed themselves in the writings of classic music and art never having left the world a single lasting significant or priceless piece. And Guy Kawasaki is lying to himself anyway in the face of garbage written by women such as “Twilight”, “Harry Potter” and “why men love bitches” – available in paperback wherever nauseating trash is sold. They weren’t short-changed. They were GROSSLY overpaid.

    Guy Kawasaki needs to grow a f~~~ing sack.

    If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

    Thanks for the informative, interesting and ultimately sad news on the print front. As if that wasn’t bad enough, and you hadn’t heard already…

    Washington State Removes Gender Bias in Law Statutes April 2013: (Reuters) – Washington state’s governor signed into law on Monday the final piece of a six-year effort to rewrite state laws using gender-neutral vocabulary, replacing terms such as “fisherman” and “freshman” with “fisher” and “first-year student.”

    Journeyman = Journey-Level Plumber
    Patrolman = Patroller
    Watchman = Security Guards

    Penmanship = Handwriting
    Clergyman = Clergy
    Man’s Past = Humankind’s Past
    Signalman = Signal Operator
    Dairyman = Dairy Farmers

    It took a 475 page bill and a 40-member staff of the Washington Code Reviser’s Office working for months at an undisclosed cost to taxpayers to remove 40,000 pieces of “Gender-biased Legislation.”  It’s too damn bad they left “manhole” as I would have loved to see “womanhole” on the books!

    Don’t forget Letter Carriers because we can’t even say MAIL anymore! Whats with the police calling a suspect a “person of interest” now as well?

    Yeah, because society some how never recognized women with the ages of Chivalry, men getting killed to protect the tribe, men breaking their backs in the fields while women got to enjoy the comforts of indoor work, men sacrificing their lives with incidents such as the sinking of the Titanic, and so on.

    You know what guys, this mangi, erh “author” has a “point”, we really haven’t given women their “due credit” for all of the “sacrifices” they have “made” for society.
